Giovannis Italian Restaurant & Pizeria

This was my first time here and i fell like it was a really great experience. We were seated in these wine barrel seats which were kind of a neat place to sit. I started off with a house salad which although pretty basic, I loved the homemade salad dressing! I was tempted to order chicken piccata but I wound up going for something more traditional and got the lasagna. Overall it was a pretty great lasagna, but I wasn't a huge fan of whatever kind of meat that was in it. We finished up with a Apple tart type dessert and that was very tasty. First time we ate here was after moving here during the deep freeze and we thought it was alright. But now I think it was just that we had driven cross country and this was the first "real food" we ate in several days. The second time it was just not good. Everything was either salty to the point of not being able to eat it or, super bland with no flavor. This third time is no different. For the life of me I cannot figure out why this place gets such good reviews. I mean you can tell the meatballs are from a frozen bag because they are watery and just tossed with a can of genetic tomato sauce.

Nice place to eat. Great service was a little wait for food but the staff was great and were apologetic about it. And we're working very hard. Would recommend to anyone.

The best for a little bit of Italy. When you come inside you immediately feel warm and cozy. It's not some fancy restaurant although very very nice.. but still feels comfortable. The staff is very nice and well dressed. Food has never been a disappointment and drinks from the bar are well made. I ordered a create your own bowl of pasta because I love pesto sauce. Not to many Italian claimed restaurants offer pesto, so I always order it when I come in for dinner. Bread is always fresh and warm and best when eaten with nice soup.

Fun restaurant with lots of good food! Strongly suggest the limoncella cake 😋 they even have a fountain in the middle of their restaurant, how cool is that!

First time here and the food was delicious! I will definitely be coming back often. I personally want to give a shout out to Sarah. She was a wonderful waitress and I look forward to seeing her again 😃.

I am so glad I chose this restaurant to have my daughter’s baby shower. The whole team was absolutely amazing! They provided superb customer service, served our delicious meals hot and with impeccable service! The staff was very gracious and helpful in tearing down after our event and most importantly, the manager was awesome, very professional, and helpful in ensuring to make this event unforgettable!! Head on over and experience the best drinks, cocktails, Italian food and pizza!!

I've been here countless times and this is the first time that my food was not enjoyable. All three steaks tasted burnt the top was good bottom burnt. The pizza was good also the pasta. It will be a while before I return. Also the waiter didn't tell us it was a difference in getting a certain soup.

Fantastic experience for our first time. Food was very good! Appetizers, main and desert were all tasty and flavorful! Prices were reasonable. Wait staff was friendly and informative and very knowledgeable about their menus without needing to double check themselves. Overall great experience.
