We are perched atop a beautiful hill overlooking Terra Linda surrounded by nature, with weekly sightings of rabbits, birds and families of deer. We provide the necessary tools for your child to become an independent, confident, learner and maintain a healthy positive self image while exploring the magic of Montessori education.

Services
The toddler classroom is a magical beginning with a prepared environment where each child can individually learn, grow, and thrive. In the toddler classroom children are often seen rolling out play dough, painting with watercolors, working with knobbed cylinder blocks/puzzles, working with color box #1 or #2 or matching sounds with the sound cylinders.
Tours are scheduled Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. They begin at 9:30am and last approximately 30 minutes. Parents AND CHILD are required to attend our admissions tour or your tour will be rescheduled. It is extremely important for families and children to view our program while school is in session.
In the Montessori classroom, the space is divided into several logical areas by low open shelves: one for practical life, one for sensorial, one for language, and one for math. Other areas incude nature, art, music, geography, and science. The Montessori Curriculum is an integrated thematic approach that ties the separate disciplines together into studies of the physical universe, the work of nature, and the human experience.

We entered this school mid-year with limited preschool experience for our 2.5 year old, and we were so impressed with the staff's caring leadership in helping him transition into a school setting. They are incredibly attentive, kind, and creative. In only 6 months he has learned SO much from singing new songs to playing new games and at nearly 3 years old he already has a decent pencil grip! He comes home happy and exhausted, often asking to stay longer and wakes up ready to go to school each day. We have loved our time here!
