Many patients who have lost teeth due to decay, gum disease, trauma, or extraction find that dental implants offer the best solution to restore their smile. Dental implants, tiny titanium posts surgically placed in the jaw, replace tooth roots and provide a stable anchor for dental crowns, bridges, and full or partial dentures.
It is not uncommon for people to put off having dental procedures completed for a very long time. It may seem like an easy thing to ignore the problems you may be experiencing with your oral health and just hope they disappear but if they are not corrected, it could lead to additional problems. Some of those issues could be quite severe, including infections and problems that could affect the very structure of your teeth.
