Dr. Chin is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who specializes in providing oral health care to infants, children and adolescents and individuals with special needs. Her practice philosophy is centered on promoting preventive care and to helping parents and children develop a healthy and happy dental home.
With her light-hearted approach and welcoming demeanor, kids of all ages have grown to truly love going to the dentist. Dr. Chin earned her undergraduate degree in Cornell University and went on to Columbia University for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She completed her postgraduate training at the competitive Pediatric Dentistry residency at the Children's Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Services
There is very little risk in dental X-rays. Pediatric dentists are especially careful to limit the amount of radiation to which children are exposed. Lead aprons and high-speed film are used to ensure safety and minimize the amount of radiation. In order to prevent dental problems, your child should see a pediatric dentist when the first tooth appears, or no later than his/her first birthday.
We are pleased to welcome you and your child to our practice. Please take a few minutes to fill out these forms as completely as you can to save time during your visit. Please bring this information along with your insurance card the day of the appointment. All consent forms and office policies need to be signed prior to seeing your child.

Dr. Chin and her staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Everything was super clean and I loved that they provide an option of an ipad for the kids to watch while getting their teeth cleaned. Dr. Chin is so wonderful with children and genuinely cares about them. My son LOVES this dental office so much. Highly recommended!

I was really apprehensive about taking my son back to the dentist especially after covid, but Dr. Chin and her staff reassured me that they are doing everything to keep the patients (and themselves) safe! Her office as always was immaculate and she assured us that she has taken extra precautions by installing a new filtering system. Everyone who enters are required to wear a mask and have their temperature screened. All this was carefully explained ahead of time prior to our appointment. What a wonderful office even under the stressful conditions of these times. Dr. Chin and staff are truly the kindest and most patient people! My daughter just had her first dentist appointment so she was nervous and they were very comforting and explained everything in an age appropriate manner. She was so happy when we left and proud. My daughter was nervous about her first dental visit but Dr. Chin was so nice and patient to her that the little one did great. She sat in my lap while the Dr did the cleaning. Afterwards we got some fun stickers and a bracelet, that she still refuses to take off. Office is very clean (had a lot of filters installed, well lit). I felt safe as they follow protocols and only book one patient at a time. Highly recommend.

As a first-time mom, naturally, I am more anxious than other mothers but add COVID, I’m a complete wreck. However, my daughter needed her first pediatric dental visit, and I had delayed it as much as I can. I had consulted with a few of my colleagues, and they recommended Dr Chin’s Tiny Sparkles. Today was our three year olds first dentist appointment. From the minute we arrived at Tiny Sparkles, we were greeted by Marilyn who was super attentive, and immediately introduced herself to our daughter and showed her all the fun activities they had in the office. Once we were brought inside and made our way into the room I knew it was going to be a positive experience. The place is perfectly designed for kids!! Thank You Dr. Chin and her amazing staff. My toddler was a little hesitant going in for his first dental appointment/experience, but was quick to warm up to Dr. Chin and her assistant. Dr. Chin is very knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring, which helped make this visit a very smooth and quick one. Its taken me a little longer than I expected to write this review. We've been with Dr Chin since our two young boys were 1 and now they are 3 and 2. What attracted me to this facility were pictures of the dentist office. What else can you ask for to distract the babies (and me)! TV, cute rooms, cleanliness, cute appliances! When my son popped out his first sets of teeth, I was told that he would need to start seeing a pediatric dentist. A good friend of mine recommended Dr. Angie Chin and I was blown away by how calm she made my son during his first cleaning. She was not only super engaging and energetic to keep my son's attention, she was extremely thorough in her treatment and explanations. She is also easily accessible for additional questions we had after our appointment. Dr. Chin and Marilyn are always a pleasure! My son Lucas actually lovessss going to his dentist now!! Dr. Chin and Marilyn are extremely kid friendly and gentle when doing my son's cleaning. The office is spanking new and up to date, with kid oriented themes in each examination room (my son loves their underwater and superheroes rooms!) Making appointments is never an issue, as they have very flexible hours. Definitely a great addition to the Port Washington area!

My sister was looking for a dentist for her son and daughter. I heard about Tiny Sparkles through a friend's recommendation so I told her about it. She wanted more information so I visited the office and had an opportunity to meet and greet the receptionist, Marilyn, Dr. Chin's dental assistant, Amaris and Dr. Chin. They were very welcoming and answered all my questions with sincerity. The office is immaculate and all the equipment is brand new. Dr. Chin quickly made time and even kept the office open late to see us.
Both Dr. Chin and her hygienist were thorough, warm, took time to explain everything, and went out of their way to make sure that parents and kids were comfortable the entire time. Her staff worked with my insurance company to get as much covered as possible, and the rest of her work was done at a very fair price.
The office is shiny and new with plenty of technology to distract kids

My daughter had her first appointment at Tiny Sparkles and I was thrilled. Great service, beautiful facility. It's bright with fun themes for the kids. My daughter loved getting to watch her favorite show while she got her cavity filled and she came out all smiles. They were quick and efficient and everyone was really nice. Took toddler for first dental appointment, chose based on Google and Yelp reviews. Facility is brand new and very clean and nicely renovated. Dr Chin and staff are super friendly, taught me how to brush and floss a toddler properly, kids leave with a smile on the face and some small toys. Themed rooms are very cute and kids would love them. Conveniently located, not far from the train station, parking by the side of the road.

Brand spankin' new pediatric dentist office in Port Washington. Brought my niece and neph in for a check up. Front office was very professional and the kids said Dr. Chin was gentle with their teeth. She was comfortable with them and also professional with me.
