The office is located in the heart of Port Washington - right near the train station. We serve Port, Manhasset, Great Neck, Roslyn, East Hills, Glen Cove and more. Dr Estafan treats patients from the area, from Long Island, New York City and many of our patients come in from out of town. Dr Estafan accepts Cigna Radius and Delta Premier insurance.
These little brushes are perfect for cleaning around implants, under bridges and between teeth. If you have a dry mouth, even if it is mild, you need to have this rinse. It has enzymes in it to replace what's depleted and help break down food, plus it just makes having a dry mouth feel less uncomfortable.
Modified Bass tecnhique: A systematic and appropriate brushing technique is crucial for an effective oral hygiene. Horizontal scrubbing with much pressure applied has to be avoided under all circumstances. The modified Bass cleaning technique has proven its worth both for people with healthy gums and for gingivitis and patients with periodontal disease.
The following are general recommendations. Please understand that dental treatments and recommendations are customized for each patient. These recommendations are not a substitute for the dentist's instructions, but as a supplement. Not all of the recommendations will apply to everyone. A gauze pad will be placed on the extraction site that you are asked to keep firm pressure on.
Your nightguard should be brushed when you brush your teeth in the morning and at night. When not using it, keep it in air (not water). Clean the nightguard with warm water and soap. If you have any dental work done such as a filling, inlay or crown, please bring you nightguard with you so it can be adjusted to fit the new restoration.

Dr Ash is an incredibly skilled dentist. I have gone to many in my life and had root canals, cavitiies etc. and I've never had as good of an experience that I have with Dr Ash. He is amazing at what he does but also cares about his patients and really does what is in the best interest of the patient, always

After seeing another dentist in town and having chronic, residual problems, Dr. Estafan got my son in and after some investigating, figured out the issue and resolved it! But seeing a great and talented dentist was only a part of the experience - Dr. Estafan and his staff worked around a busy travel-back-and-forth to college schedule and were so incredible accommodating and pleasant! I really can’t say enough about our experience other than if you are looking for a great dentist, look no further!

Dr. Estafan and everyone on his staff are absolutely terrific. He is a fantastic dentist and I highly recommend anyone in Long Island who needs dental services schedule an appointment. I first started coming to his office last year and have since made his office my 'go-to' for teeth cleanings and fillings. Dr. Estefan and his staff not only do an amazing job, but they really take the time to make you feel comfortable and at ease and answer in-depth all the questions/concerns you might have regarding your teeth.

After two chipped molars as a result of grinding my teeth at night, my wife urged me to visit Dr. Estafan's Port Washington location. I had a history of having several nighttime "nightguards" or "biteguards" to prevent this with no success. Dr. Estafan repaired both back teeth with beautiful and comfortable crown work and fitted me for the latest in low-profile and easy-to-sleep-with night-guards that protects my teeth and discourages me from grinding. This is a long overdue review. My whole family has been going to Ash for almost 20 years. He is the first and only dentist my kids have gone to. He, and his staff, are/have been equally great with my kids over the years, my apprehensive husband who had negative dentist experiences as a kid and me. In fact, many of our extended family see him also. He is professional, caring, calm, communicative, has a super clean office and a really nice way about him. We also love Candace and the rest of the staff. Highly recommend!

Dr. Estafan is the the real deal! I am the biggest chicken when it comes to going to the dentist, but Dr. Estafan makes the visit very comfortable. He is gentle, but meticulous. He explains everything he is about to do and checks in often to see how I am doing. He calms ALL my worries. He is the best. I hope he never retires. Every staff member is amazing. Everyone is so kind and warm. Port Smiles rocks!

It doesn't get any better than Dr. Estafan and his team! He has amazing bedside manner, explaining what is being done while at the same time putting your nerves at ease in a very genuine manner. The practice is well run, friendly and accommodating. I consider my family and I very fortunate to have Dr. Estafan as our dentist.....there is no one better than Dr. Estafan!!!!!!

I have been Dr Estafan's patient for 17 years. In that time he has expertly placed porcelain veneers for me, porcelain crowns, an inlay and a root canal as well as the regular twice-a-year checkups and cleanings. I have had general dentists in the past - Dr Estafan is the only Prosthodontist I have seen. From the first inlay he did, I knew he was different. He is wonderful. I smile more because of him. The office and staff couldn't be nicer. I love that he has his photography on the calming blue walls in the treatment rooms. The hygienists Eilat and Melissa are kind, gentle and thorough.
