Culmore Clinic

Named "One of the Best Nonprofits" by Catalogue for Philanthropy, Culmore Clinic is a 501(c)(3), non-profit healthcare clinic serving low-income adults in the Bailey's Crossroads community at little to no cost. Supported by a diverse group of interfaith volunteers, healthcare providers, and donors, Culmore Clinic offers compassionate medical care, counseling services as well as specialty referrals.

Our staff of experienced, dedicated and professional administrators and medical practitioners are proud to serve our patients and be part of the Bailey's Crossroads community. The majority of them are volunteers which allows us to dedicate more of our financial resources directly to our patients. Get to know these incredibly dedicated individuals a bit better below.

Culmore Clinic provides compassionate medical care, counseling services as well as specialty referrals to adults who are uninsured. Culmore Clinic is currently operating patient services four days a week with both On-Site and Telemedical options. The Clinic works directly to alleviate health disparities, offering low-cost services to patients who would not otherwise have access to any kind of medical care.

Our committed team of Board and Advisory Committee Members are made up of medical practitioners, non-profit administrators, religious leaders and community members. None of what we do at Culmore Clinic would be possible without their constant input and support. Board President- The Rev Andrew T. P. Merrow has served as the rector of St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Arlington since 1985.

What is Young Professionals Committee? Culmore Clinic's Young Professionals Committee (YPC) works with the Board of Directors to promote Culmore Clinic's mission among students, recent graduates, and those early in their careers.

It identifies opportunities to attract and appeal to an 18-30-year-old and diverse demographic and serve as a think tank for new and emerging trends in medicine, community health, communications, social media, and technology.It is a formal advisory committee of the Board of Directors. The YPC Chair also serves on the Advisory Committee of the Culmore Clinic Board of Directors and provides reports of the work of the YPC.
