Jim Rasor owns the Hotel Royal Oak, on August 11, 2021 the metal structure in front of the hotel fell on my car and caused $2089 worth of damage. At first he claimed he would accept responsibility and pay for the damages. I have text messages, a police report and emails to prove he took responsibility. It’s been almost 4 months and he has now said he accepts no responsibility. I’m out my $500 deductible. If you stay at his hotel or use him as an attorney please be careful.

Rasor law - particularly Andrew Laurila of Rasor Law represented me in a very complex and abstract civil case and did a very good job for me. Andrew always returned calls promptly, answered all of my questions thoroughly and worked diligently to ensure a positive result. In the end it was a very positive result. The Defendant in the case was difficult to deal with, prolonged proceedings and tried to avoid a settlement. The process was long and drawn out because of this. But Andrew didn't waver. I highly recommend him.

He actually made this worse by his blatant
laziness. Never wrote a contract/receipt as I requested after payment.
Never once met with me prior to 1st court
date as he said he would multiple times.
How can you even represent someone having never met to review info/evidence??
Failed to get appropriate documentation such as police report/discovery/dash cam video. Destroyed due to the lapse of time.
Texted me telling me to bring in specific paperwork

I hired Jeffery McCarty to appeal a simple arbitration judgement. It was a simple matter and the judge had previously made statements indicating that the arbitrator could not do what she was doing. We had a 5k contract and he only appealed a portion of the issue, but also failed to show up at court. I waited from 8 to 12 and finally the judge asked if I wanted to proceed and represent myself. I did as the matter needed to be resolved. The court attempted to call him with no answer. I had no missed calls, no messages and no good explanation as to why it was ok for him to break his part of our contract

While working on a project, I ran in to a problem with a group that held up the process and Jim didn't hesitate to jump in to action for me. The word "aggressive" is used frequently on the firm's website and his approach to getting my issue resolved proved this to be accurate.
