Tucked away on a quiet street right in the heart of the beautiful historic district of Hermann, Missouri, The Vinchester Inn, or "The Vin" as some of our friends call it, is a newly renovated 11-room boutique hotel. Designed for the adventurous Hermann visitor, we want the Vinchester to feel like your home away from home.
Rooms are simple, clean and comfortable, with details like historic Hermann photography, a corkscrew and Vinchester glassware, perfect for toasting to a fun weekend in wine country. With well-appointed rooms, an amazing location and on-site event space, we're proud to be one of Hermann's most reasonable and comfortable places to stay.

Services
Our 11 rooms are designed to be simple, clean, modern, and highly functional. While we have some of the most reasonable rates in town, the traditional hotel experience is elevated with plush linens and thoughtful details. All rooms are well-appointed with the below amenities. We don't serve breakfast, but encourage guests to dine out to experience the best of Hermann.
No, we do not serve breakfast. We like to encourage visitors to check out and support the local businesses in town. Hermann has two great coffee shops and a tavern for weekday breakfast, and a couple awesome spots for weekend brunch. Our Explore Hermann page will give you more info on that. We do have coffee and tea (a Keurig) available all day, everyday in our lobby, as well as individual Keurigs in-room.
Our Balcony King Room features a plush, king-sized bed with mattress by Tuft & Needle. A private balcony includes a bistro table and two chairs with views of quaint 3rd Street, the perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. Like all of our rooms, each Balcony King Room includes in-room Keurig, a microwave, mini-fridge, 50 Smart TV with cable and a private bathroom.
We want the Vinchester to feel like you're staying with your most fun friend. The one who makes you belly laugh, whose presence puts you at ease, and who loves nothing more than a cold beer paired with good music. Our downstairs (street level from 3rd St) event space, The North Star, was designed with exactly that friend in mind- a relaxed, festive, Hermann-inspired space for people to have fun, tell stories and make happy memories.
German settlers founded Hermann in 1837, the rolling hills reminding them of the Rhine Valley home they left behind. Today, the town is an impressive time capsule of historic architecture, with a sprawling, highly walkable historic district.
Whether you're looking to immerse yourself in a rich small town culture, hop on a tour, get your heart racing on the Katy Trail or taste your way through Missouri wine country, you'll find what you are looking for here in Hermann. We always recommend checking Visit Hermann for up-to-date information before visiting town.

There were four people in our girl’s trip to Hermann. We had two guest rooms at the Vinchester Inn. It was fabulous! The staff did a GREAT job of communicating w us before, during, and after our stay!! We rode on the train so really appreciated having a secure location to secure our baggage early that morning even though check in wasn’t until later in the day. The close proximity of the inn to the train station made it so convenient!! The location is fabulous-a short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, the trolley, the “happening” part of Hermann. The rooms were spotless! The beds were comfy

Review is for the Schiller house garden cottage. Wonderful winery weekend and stayed in an expertly designed Bed & Beverage. The main house and garden cottages have great patios and are all in the heart of Hermann.! Hannah was a wonderful host our stay was perfect thanks to her. Vinchester across the way and has great balcony space and great location. Book it, add on some drinks they will take care of you and you will love it!

Its about expectations. For the price you are paying you are getting a very nice room, roomy, with great showers in a expensive resort area. If you are planning to walk around downtown, its within walking distance. It does have its own parking which is a plus. It is a small business, family owned so it has the pluses that come with that and the minus. Sharing the room with another couple with a friend will give you the most reasonably priced vacation you can have.
Don't expect lots of assistance if you come in later than 5pm. Usually they have a cell phone number posted on the front desk

Stayed here for the eclipse and was amazed with my stay at the Vinchester. It is quaint and clean, and the staff is so friendly they make you feel at home. The location is perfect for walking through the downtown area and taking in the charm of the old buildings and visiting some of the small breweries. Highly recommend anyone wanting to visit Hermann, or just to get away for the weekend to use The Vinchester Inn.

I was worried to stay here as it didn't have great reviews on Yelp. I was able to overcome this fear when I saw the price! I've stayed in Hermann several times before at a few different B&Bs. I've also tried an AirBnB before. No place can beat this price!
A group of 4 of us decided to share a room with two beds for the weekend. For $235 (including tax), we were able to stay 2 nights. I have yet to find another place offering this type of pricing in the summer. Although it doesn't come with breakfast and hasn't been updated in awhile, I didn't have any problems

What an unorganised business. I have never been more inconvenienced by a hotel in my entire life. First no one picks up the phone. When you leave a message no one calls back for a week. When I talked to the lady that finally called me back she told me I could not make my reservation over the phone. Fine. I booked it on their terrible website, paid with a credit card and didn't receive a conformation. I called again and of course no answer. They then called me a few days later and asked what I was calling about. I was shocked. I told them I placed a reservation online and they

Stayed at the Vinchester Inn this weekend. It is a nice little hotel conveniently located in the town. The balcony was a nice feature. Rick was very kind and helpful. He provided us a map and pointed out the eateries located nearby.
The hotel pricing is very reasonable and I believe less than most in Hermann. The room was fine. I wouldn't say great, but it was fine. The bed was hard and very creaky. Every time I rolled over it made a loud creak. Kind of annoying. There were no mini shampoos in the bathroom and the bathroom trash had not been emptied prior to our arrival.

Posted under the wrong account August 2012 and moved over: I have been remiss in reviewing the Vinchester, as my THIRD stay is coming up in September. Long story short, two years ago some friends & I stayed at another Hermann establishment and considered ourselves fortunate we didn't bring home bedbugs. When the date for our annual trip approached last year, we wanted to put eyeballs on the Vinchester. A friend & I made the trip to see the place, stay overnight, and make sure that everyone would have a good time. Although he's fairly new to Inn ownership, Rick gets customer
