The Hermann area wineries are the heart of soul of Missouri wine country. Hermann's rich history began in 1837 when German settlers from Philadelphia, landed in this area along the Missouri River because of its resemblance to the Rhine Valley in their homeland. The resourceful Germans were inspired by the wild grapevines growing on the rocky hillsides and soon were planting grapes and making wine.

I booked a last minute trip to Hermann Missouri for my wife and I the weekend just before Thanksgiving. Hermann House Inn was one of the few B&B with rooms available.
The room I booked was so much better than I had expected as it was more of a suite that just a room including a living room, eat in kitchen as well as a full bath and separate bedroom. It was very clean and comfortable.
The hosts were very accommodating. Every time they saw us they asked if there was anything we needed.
Before we left, the hostess invited us to tour a few other suites that were just as nice or nicer than the one

My husband and I go to Hermann a few times a year, to just get away, we stay in different places, just to see how they are in comparison to past visits, in November we stayed at the Hermann House Inn. We LOVED it, it was perfect in every way, so accommodating, and so personable. We decided to stay there again, we thought how could it be any better than the past visit, well we checked in for our weekend, and the first evening, my husband had a medical emergency, that left us cutting our weekend away short, we had to leave, I called the Inn to explain leaving early and, the response from them blew

The rooms were very cozy and very clean, it even smelled wonderful in there. Snacks, coffee, creamer, milk and juice were provided as well as many other things. It was snowing very hard and they offered to drive us to the train station which we accepted and were grateful for. I highly recommend this Inn, not only for his cleanliness and coziness but because of the hospital nature of the owners. Will recommend to all of my friends and family.

My husband and I stayed here for one night in July. Past reviews were mostly good, but we were not sure what to expect. We walked into the shop attached and we found this shop to be quaint and interesting to walk around and look at all of the items. The lady was friendly and offered some of the snacks they had of mixes they were selling. Check in for the room is a little different than most places. There is not a counter and a person standing behind it checking you in. We went to the back room, paid, talked with Chris about local areas to visit, and he walked us up to our room and made sure it

The Hermann House is a great place to stay in Hermann. For the price of a hotel room, you get a furnished apartment. The "room" is modern and clean.
There was water, milk, coffee and breakfast food in the room included in the price of the night. I asked for more water and Chris delivered it at no charge.
The location is walking distance to numerous restaurants.
I highly recommend the Hermann House.

A friend and I stayed here for one night last weekend for another friends wedding in Herman. This place is super cute and quaint right in the heart of Herman's shopping and dining/drinking areas! We called the day before to get a room and Laura was very accommodating. It is extremely affordable and a nice place to stay! Chris and Laura are great people and truly care about their guests! Definitely recommend the Herman House Inn for anyone coming to visit Herman, Mo!

This was an extremely clean place. The owners were very friendly and provided us with extra breakfast food, bottled water, and juice. There was access to a washer and dryer. Our room had a full kitchen, which was very nice, and a living room area as well as a huge bathroom. It was very convenient to lodge at: near the river, a winery, a brewery, some nice restaurants, and a lot of shops and bars. The street was nice and quiet too. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here the next time I visit Hermann!

My husband and I stayed at Hermann House Inn on May 29th & 30th, 2015, and were very pleased with our room and accommodations. We stayed in suite 1, the room was very comfortable, VERY clean, and we enjoyed having a kitchen and plenty of snacks available. There is also a laundry room if clothes need washing. We loved sitting on the back porch and were so happy that there were plenty of chairs and lots of space.
Lora does an outstanding job of keeping the rooms and inn clean! Our room was spotless and everything was neat and orderly. There were no “funny odors” or even crumbs on the floor

Chris and Laura provided a clean, well-kept and enjoying stay. The interiors of the rooms are breathtaking as it's decorated with antique accent but with modern time furnitures. The rooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom are all spread out and for a inn, I did not feel claustrophobic. Each rooms are setup different but had its own uniqueness and characteristics.
Chris and Laura are very sweet and inviting. Their warm smiles and genuine personality alone welcomes me and my husband. They made our anniversary so memorable, we will be sharing our visit to our friends and family.

Owners are excellent and extremely helpful. The suites were a beautiful surprise. We had plenty of room and the suites came equipped with everything you could need to cook in the kitchenette. We looked at several p,aces in Hermann to stay and this one by far was the the most worth the price. Also in a great location!
