Sunshine Montessori is a home preschool located in a family friendly neighborhood close to Microsoft and easily accessible from Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland. We embrace the kids with love and create a family environment in which children feel comfortable, happy and excel in their learning. We offer high quality education and care for children for age 2.5 years and above.

The school uses the Montessori Method combined with the latest research in learning to create an environment where children experience the joy of learning, the excitement of sudden intuitive leaps in understanding, and the pride of accomplishment. The environment helps children develop within themselves an excellent foundation for a lifetime of creative learning.
The practical life exercises are daily living exercises that develop concentration skills. They persist of self-help skills, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and sequencing. These exercises push the children to imitate adult activities. The sensorial activities develop the five sense. Utilizing special materials, these activities will refine the child's classifying powers.
When Ms Aruna started a new school Sunshine Montessori, we already know that she was a really good experienced Montessori teacher. Let me start by saying that Miss Aruna is an exceptional teacher and person. She is dedicated to seeing her kids succeed. She had my first daughter writing her name at the age of 3.

This our daughter’s second school and we had a very bad experience with the previous school so we were really worried when we are sending to this school last September, but our daughter really loved it from first day onwards and never a complaint , we are really happy this. When we were sending her to school we did not had any big expectations but… just want her to have good time but apart from enjoying the school she is really learning a lot. Every thing has been taught as songs and our daughter really loved it and singing these songs every where we go like continent , days songs

My daughter started going to sunshine montessori since september.She loves going there and looks forward to it each morning even on weekends.I love the way she is enjoying the studies and other activities.I have seen her growing interest for drawing and colouring.I love the way Mrs Aruna includes the academics with other activities ,culture and… social skills development in kids.My daughter is super excited with all the festivals that are celebrated in the school and the best part is that she knows the story behind each holiday.This is definitely a place to be.Mrs Aruna is encouraging and

My elder son went to sunshine Montessori for 3 years. Have to appreciate the efforts of the staff especially Mrs Aruna for helping my son in improving his reading and writing skills . Having such a good experience with her we are also sending our other kid and he is loving it there , this is his first school year and he is enjoying learning there.

My daughter has attended Sunshine Montessori for almost 3 years. We are extremely happy with the choice we made of enrolling her . Not only she has advanced academically but has learned very important life skills. Ms. Aruna and his teachers put a lot of efforts in ensuring kids become well rounded personalities. I highly Recomend this pre-school.

Ms.Aruna is absolutely incredible.she is always friendly and amazing. My daughter get excited about to school everyday to learn and have fun. Ms. Aruna really make an effort to engage kids and develop them in very individualised way by providing fun learning and safe environment. She is focused and committed to the safe learning and will help kids… to learn at their own pace. Classrooms and play area were clean and well maintained always. After joining sunshine Montessori I have noticed many good changes in my daughter .Along with academics my daughter has also learned lots of other skills like taking turns,cleaning her stuff,finishing her lunch. I am really happy with the innovative teaching techniques being used at school and overall development of my daughter.

Its been just 4 months since our 4 year kid joined sunshine montessori and we are very happy with the way our kid’s social skills grooming. She learned a lot in terms of writing, painting and doing the basic chores herself. She really enjoys her pre school and doesn’t want to miss even a day. We can say that Miss Aruna is doing a great job in providing the kids best education and care. We would highly recommend this pre school.

Let me start by saying that Miss Aruna is an exceptional teacher and person. She is dedicated to seeing her kids succeed. She had my first daughter writing her name at the age of 3. She was doing multiplication before she started kindergarten. Now, with my second daughter, she is starting to read, write and can do 2 digit addition at 4 years old.… The dedication and care that Miss Aruna provides is unheard of.
