At Horton Property Management we do not simply collect rents, we "Manage" properties; we know each of our properties inside and out. Upon receipt of rent, remit net funds within 48 to 72 hours or next working day via electronic payment. Routinely process all non-payment of rent in court, and all necessary follow up - to include "collections"*.

This company is HORRIBLE! Their customer service is awful. I have had multiple dealings with this company during my house hunt and they have all been awful. First, I had an appointment set and they called to confirm. I missed the call, but called back within 10 minutes but they told me they already canceled the appointment. Another appointment I had confirmed we showed up to and sat for over half an hour waiting for the realtor. We texted them no response, when we called them they hung up on us and texted back can I call you later. I will now no longer look at properties through Horton Realty,

This was very unfortunate. Me and my spouse went to look at a house a few weeks ago and loved the place. The gentleman explained to put an application in which we did at $40 each ( standard application fee).
However, since we have them the application fee we have yet to hear from them. Prior to seeing home, phone was answered when we called. Now neither myself, my husband or my realtor can reach them. I call daily, nothing. Not even a call to say we were not approved. This company is just ignoring us. Very VERY unprofessional for a company to have such protocol. Please be careful when going to

Horton Realty managed our rental property for over ten years until recently when we decided to sell it. They found good, long-term tenants and managed the house to our benefit and to the benefit of the tenants. It is to the credit of our tenants and Horton Realty that the house was in excellent condition when we regained possession. I would have no hesitation in using Cris Horton and his team again and would happily recommend them.

Contractors BEWARE, do Do not do business with this company I completed a job in July 2020 same day they called , I am now just getting paid (January 2021) Providing the check doesn’t bounce. the only reason they’re paying is because I threaten to put a lien against the property and contact the owner, I had to go pick up my check on their hours. I did contact the owner and she paid the company back in July. I stoped by their office three different times closed each time during business hours

I was surprised not to have to do anything from out of state to rent and then sell our house. Horton Realty did an outstanding job taking care of all the repairs and upkeep while being very responsive with our rental. When it came time to sell - they had everything under control and sold the home quickly. Can't recommend Cris and Horton Realty highly enough.

Dealing with this property mgmt company for almost 15years, it has been a pleasure working with the owners and staff for all of my needs at their rental property. One of the worse property management companies I have dealt with in a long time . Maintenance request was not excited in a proper manner ,the "Manager" and some of his staff were unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend any property Horton manages to anyone . Horrible experience.

First of all , I left this apartment in pristine condition. The bathroom , Kitchen , bedroom and living room was cleaned to perfection. I'm not the only one who has posted a negative review of this company . They currently have two stars and they have this rating for a reason. I don't owe this company

Horton Property Management has been managing my property for about six or seven years now. I have dealt with Chris Horton for the majority of that time. Sometimes when I call it may take a day or so for them to return the call. But I'm sure I'm not the only one that is waiting for a return call. Chris has even returned phone calls while on vacation.With all the properties they manage I don't expect an immediate response. I read all the negative reviews and just can't believe this to be true. I have not experienced any of these problems. Horton has always been forthcoming in

This is the absolute worse Realty Company I have dealt with in some years . I wish I would have read these reviews before I decided to move into a property managed by this company. They are horrible in terms of responding to maintenance request . It took them a month to respond to a request made concerning a shower stall and leaking faucet. I had to repeatedly place request in order for them to be honored. Chris Horton the “manager” is extremely difficult to deal with in my opinion. He was very combative and wasn’t extremely helpful in solving any concerns I had with the properties they manage

Horton Property Management has been managing rental properties for us since 1998. It is a family and veteran owned company and we had the pleasure of first working with and becoming friends with Joe and Marilyn Horton, wonderful people, who have sadly both passed away. They spoke often of their son, Chris, who was in the military back then and now heads the company. The elder Hortons would fill in when Chris had reserve military duty. The sudden loss of Marilyn in June last year just before a long deployment for Chris left a big gap. Chris' wife and additional staff have stepped up to fill

This company is TERRIBLE. They provided the WORST experience I have ever had from a property management company from beginning to end. Upon move in, there were things that needed to be taken care of: trash bin for trash pick up, non-functioning fridge and a microwave that broke within a few weeks of us moving in. It took them weeks and multiple phone calls to take care of these things. A month before we moved out, the A/C went out (of course, during the worst heat of the summer). They left us without A/C for WEEKS while they decided what to do. They finally provided filthy wimpy window units (which

The home I rent in the California area is managed by Horton Realty. I have rented through this company for three years now. I have been quite happy with Horton since the beginning of my rental contract. Small issues with the apartment are always dealt with in an expedient manner. I would happily do business with them again.

Horton Realty has not helped fixed major issues in our rental house. We had have other issues with the payment processing fees over charging us, with no refund or comp we received back. We had snakes in and around our house, that they did not mention were a problem in the area. We have a hole in our basement wall that leads straight outside, which snake and other possible animals can get in, which they would not come out to look out, nor fix. They simply told us to get snake be gone, what ever that is. Not people friendly.
