Love this auto body shop. Very real down to earth people who will give you reasonable advice and provide a high quality product. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and everyone seems happy to be at work and like their job. Their cost estimates and time lines are accurate and reliable. I send all of my friends and family there and everyone is super happy with their work.
Magin at the front desk is a star and a true professional. She obviously knows a lot about cars and car repairs and is good at explaining all of that stuff to us lay people in a way we can understand.

Rich and the team at Active Auto Body are the best. From the initial bid, scheduling work, professionalism and quality of the job, it was all five stars. Lets begin at the beginning. My brand new car that doesn't even have plates on it yet gets a custom crow bar job in the night. Active got right on ordering the part to get it looking new again and were very upfront and communicative about what to expect in terms of lead time. Now I know what you are thinking; new car fresh off the lot? Why not go to the dealer? BECAUSE the dealer can't even change my oil in less than 4 hrs and whose got time for that!?!? While we are waiting for the part the thieves came back and broke the window, welcome to Portland. I called active and they recommended

After my BMW M2 was hit by a drunk driver, BMW Portland recommended I take it to Active Auto Body for repairs. I worked with Magin and she was great about communicating what was going on with my car, and how long it would take for me to get it back. I can’t say the process of having my car fixed was seamless because a few mistakes were made along the way, both at Active and at BMW. However, Magin was very responsive to my concerns and went above and beyond to make things right. Active Auto Body came to my rescue! My skid plate went ahead and fell off the bottom of my car...not a great situation. I stopped by unannounced, no appointment, and they reattached my skid plate in under 10 minutes, and didn't even charge me! It was a 2021 act of kindness that I really appreciated! Rich helped me out at the very last minute when a too-tall curb pulled the front bumper off my car a few weeks back. He had it looking like new in under 2 hours and even adjusted the sheet metal around my engine where it was wonky from a repair that had been done before I purchased the car. As if getting the bumper back on and straightening stuff out to the point that there was no more annoying rattling coming from around my hood(!) he also washed the car and replaced a couple of bulbs plus touched up a couple of dings in my paint all for a great deal lower than anyone else was asking and waaay

Great experience with Active Auto Body, particularly with Rich. Rich is very professional, and really look out for customer’s best interest. The car is fixed just like brand new and beyond my expectation. The whole service is totally hassle-free. Rich communicated with insurance adjuster and I did not need to do anything. After the repair, I realized there seems a small molding part missing. Rich immediately ordered a new one. I was not able to go to the shop during work hour and Rich even delivered to my place for installation. I really appreciate his professional services. Thank you Rich and

Took my Audi in after a FedEx truck hit it, on a recommendation from an acquaintance that's been in the industry for decades. Fantastic service. Excellent repair work, panel fitment is perfect and the paintwork is top notch; correct flake, no orange peel, great prep work shows. Completely timely, car was even meticulously cleaned inside and out. Gave me status updates throughout and was extremely professional and personable. Will be my body shop of choice going forward.

Rich and his team got my BMW M2 back to perfect condition after the front bumper was damaged from road debris. Not only that but the team was extremely easy to communicate with and Rich was always willing to put my mind at ease. They took care of my car like it was their own and they were happy to work with me to replace an OEM part with an upgrade “while we were in there.” I trust them completely; the entire experience was extremely positive!

Rich and his team do excellent work. They are factory trained and carry a good reputation within the local automotive industry. We have had our VW Jetta fixed here and they did an awesome job with a replacement quarter panel. The blend was done well that you can't even tell it was replaced. I highly recommend active auto body for your auto body needs.

Fisher Volvo sent us here for body work. The estimate process was quick and efficient, we were able to book easily, and the finished product is outstanding. We had a little trouble with getting an accurate completion date (when you're down a car, days seem like months), but that was minor and completely forgotten when we saw the results. That also worked well with our insurance company. A+ results!
