Integrated Therapy is committed to the highest quality of aquatic physical therapy care. Utilizing the physical properties of the water, our goal is not only to restore patients to their maximum function but also to provide education about the injury and tools for prevention. Integrated Therapy is privately owned for over 21 years by a physical therapist.
At Integrated Therapy, our therapists accompany each patient in the water during all treatment sessions. Swimming is not required as most of the exercises will be performed while standing in the water using flotation devices or holding onto the side of the pool. We are in network with most major insurance companies including Medicare, VA and Workers Comp.

Aquatic Physical Therapy combines the benefit of exercise with buoyancy and resistance of warm water to create a controlled, productive environment for rehabilitation. With a skilled clinical team and a state of the industry aquatic therapy program, both swimmers and non-swimmers of all ages and abilities can benefit from the healing effects of aquatic physical therapy.
Our physical therapists are specialized in the aquatic treatment of injuries to muscles, bones, ligaments, joints and nerves. Our goal is to return patients to their normal activities while helping them move and feel better and prevent re-injury in a more pain-free environment. Aquatic therapy is easy, fun and has less stress on your body.
From Athens Perimeter Highway: Take Athens Perimeter Highway to the Lexington Road/Oconee Street Exit. Take a right off of exit onto Lexington Road/Oconee Street and take another immediate right onto Barnet Shoals Road. I was impressed with and very appreciative of Miss Tia’s professionalism and personal ability. After decades of chronic pain I started out at Integrated Therapy with little hope. I'd been sent to physical therapy before but I always seemed to be written off as a lost cause. But at Integrated Therapy my Physical Therapist, Caleb, was respectful and patient. When I felt like I couldn't last any longer in a stretch he would count down second by second for the last bit. He would distract me with some story or small talk while I finished a set of painful repetitions. He never put me down at the beginning when I couldn't feel where my arms or legs were at or remember the exercises. He never wrote

I've been working with therapists from Integrated Therapy now for just over 2 years. As a chronic pain patient trying to take less medicine, the first thing I noticed was more breakthrough pain medicine pills in the bottle. This meant of course that I was taking less, which was one of the first goals I had in therapy. Also, having been in a wheelchair now for more than 15 years, working in the water with the therapist has allowed me to see that I may not have to rely on and a wheelchair, at least indoors. It was a good experience for me.
My therapist, Liz, was very knowledgeable and was patient with me to explain and monitor my exercises.
I really appreciated how my therapy was addressed with how my body was feeling that particular day. That made a difference.

Elana has made such a huge difference in my mobility and my life! She is so wise and kind and is incredibly thoughtful, observant and patient. I’ve tried every therapy under the sun over the years — I have a progressive neuromuscular disorder — and this is by FAR the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ll never stop! My husband had a massive stroke in January 2018 and has been through many different kinds of therapy. He has been extremely successful in Aquatic therapy which I attribute to his great therapists, Liz and Jen, at the West Cobb location. They are very knowledgeable, kind, patient and nurturing with him. They are the BEST and truly care about the progress of their patients. I highly recommend Integrated Therapy.

The owner really cares. I do not have a facility by me yet that I can use, but they are working on it. They listen to their customers concerns and are open to trying to add new locations afetr speaking with the owner that are much closer to Mcdonough, Conyers, Covington and Monroe, Ga. I cannot wait to use my benefits to utilize their Aquatic therapy specialists..

I go to the Athens/Watkinsville facility for water therapy. I was skeptical at first because I'm not much of a water person. Jennifer the therapist was welcoming and made me feel comfortable. This therapy has made such a difference in my life. I was unable to do many things around the house due to pain from Lupus and Firbromyalgia. This therapy has really loosened up my joints and muscles and given me strength and endurance I didn't have before. Jennifer is wonderful and this facility is close and convenient.
