People who smile more often are generally happier and, since smiling decreases blood pressure and releases endorphins, it's a great way to boost health and protect your golden years. Who knew that landing that exciting new position would be as easy as smiling?
No, they will not. The space available for the front teeth does not increase as you grow. In most people, after the permanent molars erupt, the space available for the front teeth decreases with age. Crooked teeth are harder to clean and maintain. A bad bite can also cause abnormal wear on tooth surfaces, difficulty speaking, and possibly joint problems (TMJ).

Dr. Dugoni is very kind and has excellent bedside manner. Most importantly, he clearly knows his stuff. He came up with a unique treatment plan for me and I am so far very happy with my results. When the pandemic began he even delivered my next Invisalign trays to my doorstep so there wouldn't be an interruption in treatment. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Dugoni takes the time and care to make every patient feel that they are the priority. I'm especially impressed with how he connects to the kids (of all ages) and treats them with respect and encouragement.
His calm and concerned demeanor is genuine and comforting and his team is cool under pressure even when they are busy. The office is warm and welcoming. Great choice for orthodontics!

I am so happy I chose Portland Braces for my daughter’s orthodontic journey. Dr. Dugoni’s work is simply outstanding! He truly cared about making my daughter’s smile the absolute best. He and his staff are amazing! My daughter especially loved Jomayra. She is so personable and always made my daughter feel comfortable even when she was feeling nervous about getting her braces on. The staff are very friendly and kind especially Jo. She brings the best smile when we talked as well as entertaining me during the time of the appointment. Both my husband and I came here for our braces. Dr Dugoni and his staff is always so welcoming and friendly. Working with us and our needs. Even after many years later they still are just as warm and welcoming as the first day I came in. Thank you guys again for everything you have done and continue to do as I get older and yank out my permanent retainer. 🤪 would recommend them anytime.

Dr Dugoni's office offers the most welcoming and professional experience of any health-related office that I have come in contact with in Portland. Every patient and family member is welcomed like a member of the family in a genuine way that personalizes the experience. That is hard to find in an urban area the size of Portland. It reminds me the experience of small-town America where your health care providers are also acquaintances and know more about you than what is on the chart in front of them. You get a sense of belonging as you get orthodontic treatment. Staff are very professional, organized

Dr. Dugoni is a truly lovely person to work with. He always made my kids and myself feel listened to, and answered all our questions patiently. He has a thriving busy business, but manages to keep appointments on time and makes interactions feel unhurried- he seems to really take an interest in everyone he interacts with. My kids felt affirmed and he inspired them to take ownership of their care. They always used their rubber bands etc, I think because he treated them like they were important.

My mother has been coming here since before I was born. And two years ago I got my braces put in. The whole time I was coming in I'd have great conversations with the staff, they are all so friendly, and they do an amazing job. Joe and Dr. Dugoni were especially kind to me. I'm so glad that I got my braces done here and not somewhere else! Thanks again guys!
