1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

First of all I have to say I really like this vet, I do, but if your an actual established client they never have appointments! Every single time I call they say they have ZERO openings and I can do the call in option. You call starting at 8am and “hope” to get an opening for that day. I’ve tried this “process” and it NEVER WORKS! I start calling at 7:59 and can’t get through, no one answers and by 8:01/02/03 they’re all GONE!

I have been coming to Briarwood for about 8 years, Dr Amy and Dr Joe are very good with my cats and love them like they were their own, the staff is great too, and if I need an emergency, I call at 8:00 in the morning when they open and they always get me an appointment during the day.... Dr Joe is also really good when you have an emergency on a weekend, I had to send two of my cats to the rainbow bridge on a Sunday, and he met me at the office

Called in the evening to see if they had any appointments for my dog the next day. I just moved into the area. They said that they were booked with new patients for the next few weeks but that I could call back at 8am & try to get one of their sick/urgent appointments for the next day or the following day. When I called back right at 8am, the lady I spoke with told me that the sick/urgent appointments were not used for new patients, which contradicted what I was told the night before. Please train your staff and make sure they are all on the same page. No I’m am stuck trying to find an appointment

I have nothing but respect for Briarwood. My dog loved coming here. Never afraid. Always treated like there own. Sadly I had to put her down a few weeks ago. Vet Joe was very helpful snd comforting in his talk. Hardest decision of my life. But I made the best one for my best friend. Thank you staff for being so great to my Chico.

We started going to Briarwood after getting a puppy and seeing a decline in service from our former Vet with our cats. We have been sooooo happy with Briarwood. Dr Joe has called after hours to answer questions or provide feedback on our dog. He listened to the concerns we had and worked with us to come up with a food that worked without breaking the bank. Our dog runs to the door so he is definitely not scared and that is important.

Dr. Joe Hendricks and Dr. Amy Webb-Kallin, aka as "Dr Joe" and "Dr. Amy" have treated both of my cats through the years. Both doctors are not only highly intelligent but most compassionate to you and your pet. I highly recommend Briarwood Veterinary Hospital. The staff is amazing - always helpful even during these especially difficult times with the Covid pandemic.

We are new in the area and I called and tried setting up an apt for our new kitten and the lady that answered the phone straight up told me she doesn’t have any availability for another 3 weeks and to find another vet. Wow! Will definitely not recommend this vet! Didn’t even try to help me.i won’t even give it one star if I could.

I couldn’t ask for a better veterinarians than Dr. Joe & Dr. Amy! They always take the time to make sure our dog is getting the best care possible and that we understand everything that they are doing or that our dog needs. Very organized and thoughtful place to go. They make sure your pet is up to date on all shots, some you may not need and they explain it. They have all the medications on hand. They are about quality over quantity with their pet patients. The docs are very intelligent and know their job quite well along with the rest of the staff.

I used to be a client at Briarwood, but unfortunately me and my boyfriend moved. We have struggled to find a vet and a team as dedicated to their clients as Briarwood is. We had Dr. Joe and he was as amazing! Always took my questions regardless of the time, listened to my concerns, truly cared for my dog, Bailey. I had complete trust in him. You… can tell from the team as well, they truly love what they do and care for the pets. It is so evident that they are there for the pets not the money. Dr. Joe is an outstanding vet! Although visits may not always be easy for our dogs depending on the day, Dr. Joe has always been patient, and very understanding. Dr. Amy has also been outstanding when we see her and she is very kind, and friendly. Both vets are knowledgeable and practice the latest and greatest, often providing current research to support their recommendations. Everyone from the receptionists, to the techs have been great and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. We highly recommend Briarwood!

I just recently removed my dog from Briarwood. It had nothing to do with Dr. Joe, he was fantastic. But his office lady Jan has a real attitude problem, shes rude about everything. I was told I could only call to make appointments. I'm disabled and I have questions about things, sometimes even twice and she said their office is too busy to be… answering the phones like that. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! If those are the kind of people that work there then I can only imagine the others. I dont want that kind of environment for my animal. This is unacceptable!
