Tenants are the life blood of our business and the Team at RESE sincerely appreciates that. While RESE will always do the very best we can to provide the services our tenants expect, we are simply the middle men and need to get owner approval for all repairs.

In addition, the geography of our portfolio requires us to use a network of third party vendors to provide the services and so RESE is not always able to control that side of things to the extent we would like.However, rest assured that we will always work tirelessly to keep your home available, operational, comfortable and properly maintained.

Do not rent from them. I've rented from many places and am a very good and clean tenant. I lived at Westview apartments for 10 months. When touring the apartments they said "oh, we really get people on fees" I should've run when they said that. When I moved in there was a broken window, in December, that they told me about and said they'd fix. It took 5 months to get it fixed. Of the maintenance tickets I submitted they only fixed one (two if you count the window). They'd come take a look then cancel it without fixing it - or they wouldn't come at all. These are the most dishonest people and company I’ve ever dealt with. The apartment was not in good shape when we moved in and after we moved out they changed us with a massive bill for things they needed to “fix”. When we attempted to contact them about the ridiculous charges they wouldn’t talk to us on the phone and gave us an email. We sent multiple emails and never heard back. The next thing we heard was from a law firm. The people working for RESE just stammer and lie to us when we attempted to talk to them about the law firm and charges. Do your self a favor and avoid this company

There's no office, the agent that shows the apartment is real nice but she can only reference you to online application, the phone number available on the advertisement also gives reference to online.
I can only speak for my self, but according to my credit check, they asked for a security deposit of 3 months worth of rent (yes! It's a lot)
I don't know what type of people they rent there apartments to but, I applied to other apartments and all the others asked for 1/6 the price that RESE requested.
So just becareful if trying to rent from RESE.

If you’re thinking about renting from any property from RESE don’t do it. We rented from them for one month and didn’t even get a third of our deposit back. We didn’t even unpack fully from moving in and still they found ways to charge us for over a thousand dollars worth of “damages.” Same things happened to our friends that also rented from RESE. We both got the same amount of the deposit back so it seems like they have a set amount they give back no matter what.

As a tenant, you really have to push them to get them to get things done. During the wintertime my roommates and I were without heating or hot water for a good 5 days. It took calling in and yelling at them to get them to actually contact the property owner about it. Mind you we were the type of tenants who always paid on time and did our best to take care of the place.
When we decided to move out we had to issue a 5 day notice to provide deposit disposition, and we even gave them an extra 3 weeks after their lawfully allotted month was up. I get being short staffed due to covid, but upon putting

The worst place I have ever rented from or done business with period!! We are taking legal actions because they charged us for a damaged wall that we didn’t do. Keep in mind we told them about the wall when we moved in and we took pictures with texts from them stating keep this information for your records and these “idiots” still charged us when we moved out. Don’t get mad if you rent from these crooks and get treated unprofessional the reviews are the truth. I can go on and on about basement flooding, utility room flooding, house not cleaned when we moved in, etc..and one of their responses

The property I rented from RESE was decent but the communication is very poor. No additional relevant or helpful details were ever offered voluntarily when asking questions. The WiFi password took a week to get after I moved in. The furnace went out in February because it had not been inspected. Maintenance requests were mishandled. Upon calling them, we were told to email instead of calling, and my agent quit/left the company without telling me when my contract sold. They couldn't sell my contract after we had several and months and we had to find people ourselves/through friends.

I wish there were negative stars. Their practices remind me of polygamists that are "lyin for the lord." They take every nickel and dime from you and use the dirtiest legal firm as well that both align with their practices. I'm not sure how they sleep at night, nor do I know how good people who let their beautiful homes be managed by Rese allow this. I guess out of site out of mind.

We have rented the house we're in for 17 years. Originally we paid to Pacific corp until Pacific corp hired Reese Property to take over. Reese has raised the rent $100.00 for each year. This year my husband was diagnosed with aggressive kidney cancer. When he told Reese Property about it and that he wanted to pay monthly because he only has 6 months to a year when our lease was renewed, they said how sorry they were to hear about that so they raised the rent another 100 plus additional 100 per month. Honestly the worst management I’ve ever rented from. They claimed we had another tenant living in our home (which we did not) and posted on our door that we needed to comply or vacate. I called to comply and was told an inspection would happen and they would let me know when. (Honestly, the lady I spoke to was the most unhelpful person ever. Kept saying things like “I can’t give you that information” to basic personal questions about my account, airship and speaking to a supervisor..

I was worried about all of the negative reviews, however my experience so far has been very positive. Anne did a great job of keeping me informed throughout the entire "socially-distanced" tour and rental experience. Anne always provided the necessary information and was very accomodating. Anne was very understanding of our individual circumstances moving from out of state. I began renting with this company in 2018, and rented there for 2 years. The house wasn't in great condition, but it didn't really bother me. When we moved in there was a shower curtain rod in the shower and a can of paint on the table. Nothing that would bother anyone. I took a video of the whole house so that if any disputes came up later on about walls or anything I would have my own proof of how it looked before.

Moved out in June and called about of deposit in August. They told us they mailed it to the apartment WE MOVED OUT OF. I asked them how are we supposed to get our check if we moved out of that apartment and no longer have keys? They told us we have to pay $50 to mail us a new check and $35 to make sure the check has no been cashed. It's now September 12 and we got our check today. I left that apartment better than we found it. I hired a cleaning service and they deep cleaned everything to the point they were scrubbing bleach on the walls. The level of incompetence with this company is staggering. I am a tenant of a property they take care of and it's been such a hard time having to deal with these people. They take weeks to respond, some days I can call and get ahold of someone and some days i can't. I speak to and work with a different person every time on the same issue so I have to catch them up and it takes so much time. They must have high turnover of the our employees. Every time we have to have a mandatory walk through of the property every 6 months, it's a different VERY young person which gives me pause.

Rese was by far the most difficult conpany to get ahold of. They take days/weeks to respond to calls or emails. After being a renter for many years i promise you can find a more professional and responsive property management company. Safe your self the trouble and keep looking!

This company is pathetic, unethical, dirty, rotton thieves and just plain horrible. It's funny the owner has some excuse to every negative review never once taking accountability and always playing the victim. They were telling the owner I was crazy but then say I am the abusive one. That is truly funny. They have been fired by several property owners because the negative reviews are not tenents just complaining but are absoulte facts. I just want to say that for me, Rese Property Management has been wonderful in getting whatever maintenance or vendor work that needed to be done on my new duplex. I am in LOVE with this property and they made it perfect for me, from getting new light fixtures...to insuring everything was in great working condition...and even got my beautiful backyard prepped and ready for my move in. I couldn't be more pleased. They are great with communication either through phone or text and will answer all your questions in a speedy and timely manner. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I actually will be calling the BBB because these people are disrespectful and ultimately ridiculous in their business practices.

First of all, during this COVID-19 global crisis, they INSISTED on coming to our house today to do an "inspection" after I texted them and emailed them (I put it in writing as they asked) to reschedule because we are a high risk family. They STILL came to my door saying it was their "protocol". Oh really? Since when are you above the law and everyone else who has to stay home during this quarantine? And how dare you come out

Scammed me out of money for 2 applications even after I showed them my credit. I was pretty bummed and tried to be honest up front, but apparently they just wanted my money, .

Update: You asked my husband to apply as well, even tho my credit was the worst. I showed you the worst, and I applied, and you said, hey have your husband apply too, maybe that'll help. It didn't help, and I'm out $90. So, it does make sense. If you ask the right questions.

Rese texts me on November 6 to say the check was mailed. I'm happy at this point, because "persistence," right? Twelve days pass, no check, so I send a text and Rese says they will check their mail register and, yep...they say they sent it. So I wait another 8 days...and guess what...NO CHECK! I send another text to them telling them that the check still has not arrived and ask if they will cancel the one they sent and mail another one. Their response...through text of course (because having a one-on-one discussion over the phone is just so "ok boomer.."")..."

This has got to be the worst fun property management company I have ever experienced. I read reviews before renting from them and I was a little nervous given the poor reviews but I did it anyway.

I was always on time with rent! Took care off the place as if I owned it.
Now I have moved out because the owner was selling the home. I left early so the realtor could get in. The owner gave me a rent credit which took over a month to get from Rese. They told me they mailed it so it wasn't their problem. I had to pay them $30 to reissue a check and send it certified!

Will never rent from these people again moved out in June and today October 25 they finally sent my deposit back for a whole 96 dollars. We left that place way better then we found it. Also when I called them they said we would be getting the full amount back and that was not case. The whole time we lived there we had nothing but problems save your time and money don't rent with them.

Words cannot express how poor this company operates. I should have listened to the reviews when I was thinking about renting one of their Lehi units because even since then, it has been one thing after another.

My first couple months were fine, it was at the point where my wife and I decided to move where fit hit the shan. Terrible Service, and they ripped me off. I used them to manage my properties for a number of years. They have more employee turnover then any company ive ever seen. you never know who is managing your property. When you call them you can never get anyone to answer the phone or call you back. Then when you try and cancel with them, if your agreement is staggered they will charge all kinds of fees to cancel with them. Every time I complained they said they have made big improvements, but they never did. If anything it got worse. My tenets hated RESE. Dont use them to manage your property.

Inconsistent and terrible, stay FAR away from any Rese rentals.

2 weeks ago I e-mailed Rese about moving into a bigger, more expensive rental. I've lived with them for 3 years and figured it would be easier than going with a different management company. They STILL have not responded, but when I went to pay rent on the 1st, it told me I had to resign my lease in order to pay. I finally found a way around that, as I was still hoping to hear from them about the other rental we were looking at. I paid rent, but was never sent a confirmation e-mail. So you want to rent a property you own, but not sure how to go about it and are looking at having a property management service help you out? Save your self the time and just light your money on fire instead. At least that way you get some benefit (heat) of throwing your money away.

Just don't do it. Don't rent a house if it is managed by this company. We read all the reviews before we decided to rent and found a lot of them to be negative. We've always had good experiences with most rental agencies, so we thought there was no way it could be that bad. Oh, it was.

We rented for 1 year and then decided to move. For most of the year, they were okay. It was the move out process that was so bad. Don't expect to get much of your deposit back. The person I worked with at the end of the lease said that no matter what, she always hires a cleaning service

Don't let RESE bully you!

Four months after moving out of a RESE-managed condo I received an email stating that I owed RESE a $100. They informed me that due to an "accounting error" they failed to remove $100 from my deposit for a cleaning fee, they said that if I did not send them the $100 ASAP that their attorney would begin collections activity.

The odd thing is that the contract and Utah state codes say that an itemized-receipt of deductions must be provided within 30 days the termination of the contract and of course the itemized deduction that they provided when I moved

After about two years of using them I feel like they have good intent with horrible execution. I've gone through rep after rep after rep and they have not once notified me of a rep changing until MONTHS after it has happened. My current rep doesn't even work in the office, she works out of her home and takes several days to answer emails (if she decided to actually reply). I had an unauthorized repair done at my house that was $15 in parts and labor and the company they contract out with (after hours) charged me $350. I am a landlord and would not hire them again. They are not totally horrible, but you have to keep on top of them. Their online system is very good. The hardest part is that I can never be sure that they will go ahead and follow through on a tenant request if they cannot reach me no matter how many times I have told them to take care of the tenant first in case I cannot be reached. Recently they were asking me how the property was managed for the tenant and of course I had no idea as I do not interact with tenants. When it comes time to get rid of them and switch managers it is not a fun process
