Couldn't have asked for an easier to work with, nice, transparent place. Danny was communicative from the very beginning about quotes and kept me aware of changes in my service.
When I got COVID and needed someone else to pick up the car for me, Danny offered to hold on to the car until a friend could get it free of charge. Plus, the car looks great.
Next time I need some help with my car, I know exactly where I will go. Wish I could give them 6 stars.

I contacted a bunch of body shops after scraping and denting my door on the garage. Danny at Western bodyshop was able to get me a reasonable quote extremely quickly w just some pics I emailed, not to mention they had all the work done within 3 days of me dropping off the car. What a breathe off fresh air after I went in to a body shop in Gold Coast off Elston that told me I'd have to replace the whole door at a cost of at least 6-7k!! I highly recommend them for any bodywork.

I feel the need to respond to Danny's response to my review.
1) The door buffing he mentioned as not being done was actually done correctly on the door that my neighbor damaged, and the scratches buffed out. I had separately asked for the door behind it to be buffed when I dropped off the car and in an email to him (after dropping off the car) and he agreed to do so, but did not do the work. You can read the language in my email to Danny which I posted in the review below. My neighbor damaged the front driver side door. In my email I had asked about some minor scratches on the rear driver

Danny & his team did a great job fixing some surface rust on my rocker panels and did it at a very reasonable cost & at a much higher standard than other "cheap" body shops I've had prior experience with. Paint matches perfectly and looks OEM. Highly recommended. Was understanding and helpful with unplanned for mechanical trouble as well.

One of the best experiences I’ve had getting my car repaired. The owner runs it informally but does everything he’s supposed to do and more. My car looked brand new when I saw it in the lot. They go above and beyond and held me to the price we agreed to over email

Reached out to them by phone and email regarding a minor repair. They gave me a preliminary estimate through email and told me to show up with the car. When I did show up with the car I wanted a final written estimate and they were unwilling to give me one. they also told me it would take five days instead of the two or three days I was quoted by phone and email. They got very aggressive and hostile with me so I just decided to leave. Very rude and unprofessional.

Danny and his team are amazing. I've never had to take a car to an auto body shop for repairs before so I was bracing myself for the worst, but Western Body Shop has gained a loyal customer in me. Danny replied to my website form submission almost immediately, even on a Saturday (!) and provided an accurate estimate over email from photos. I was able to take my car in that Monday no problem, and the work even came in under estimate and on time a mere week and a half later. I noticed about 2 weeks later that my horn wasn't working, so I came by the next day after sending a quick email

The sides of my front fender were falling off, and they just needed to be clipped back on. Original clips were broken. Came in 10, min later is was done super easy and a very reasonable price. Good quality work, will definitely come back if I have any body needs for my car!

When I wanted the slightly damaged right rear fender and bumper of my 2012 Prius C fixed/replaced/painted, I got several estimates and landed on Western Body Shop. Danny gave me a detailed estimate within 30 minutes via email, which was $300 less than any other estimate I got. I was a bit hesitant because on first glance it looks like a very small operation, but went with it. I had some rust damage on my left rear wheel well and a nasty scratch and dent on my right rear quarter panel. Before Danny, I got 4 estimates on the work, including a body shop I have used in the past, which was TWICE the amount that Western Body Shop quoted me. In fact, Danny's quote was the lowest of the 4 quotes I got and his quote promised the least amount of time to get the work done.
Result: He delivered on time and the work was first rate and he kept me informed

If I could give Danny and his team 10 stars, I would. From the estimate to the final product, every part of the process was stellar. He was very responsive, collaborative and helpful. I don't know much about cars, but he walked me through everything very clearly and was always available to chat via text or phone call or email if I had questions. They even dropped my car off at my home when it was finished. On top of the great customer service, their work is impeccable. I had a giant scratch on my car from getting side swiped and now it looks brand new again. 10/10, will call Danny if I ever

I am so impressed with my experience here! Not only do they do an amazing and efficient job but they are so thoughtful and makes things easier on your end. Danny and the team are so willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. I hope I don't need to get anything repaired for my car in the future but if I do, I will be calling them! 10/10 would recommend!

Just picked up my BMW that I had scraped alongside the brick exterior on my garage, and it looks incredible! Danny might be the nicest and most fair/honest auto body person I've ever encountered. I paid out of pocket for the repairs, and it was much less than I was expecting it to be. He even dropped it off at Firestone to have an alignment done, which I would have had to find time to do on my own. I dropped my car off on Monday morning, and picked it up Friday morning, a day of which was waiting for Firestone to get to it. If I ever need body work done again (which hopefully I avoid), Danny

Western Body Shop and Danny were great to work with on my tailgate damage and paint chipping. They provided a quote quickly, responded to my questions promptly, and got me in for an appointment in a reasonable time frame despite COVID. Remarkable. I took my dinged, dented, and scratched 2016 Kia Soul to Western Body Shop after receiving an estimate from a national collision repair shop that took my breath away. Owner Danny Avalos gave me a very competitive quote, then completed the repairs in half the time the "big guy" had estimated.
I don't have any before and after photos, but believe me when I say the car looks terrific! Pressure's on--I'm going to be more careful even though I now have a "go-to" body shop.
Western also replaced the weatherstripping around a door and a missing radio

I must have visited over 15 different body shops across the city, some independently owned and some that were larger. From my experience, I can honestly say that Western body shop is the only body shop worth going to for an estimate. I’m not sure what is the matter with other body shops, but I feel like none of them come close to the quality customer service and professionalism I experienced here. Danny, who I believe is the owner, was honest, fair and constantly gave me updates about the status of my repairs. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the end result. My parent’s SUV looks incredible

My hood would not close, simply from rust and neglect. I did not get the guys name who helped me but I pulled up in front of the shop, he came out with WD-40 and took the time to help me. A beautiful soul. From this small level of care, to me it speaks volumes of their knowledge and professionalism.

Seriously such a good experience at this place. I initially came in to get my front bumper replaced, but I knew that other parts may have been damaged from my incident. I told them to let me know any other things that would need replacement and the urgency of those repairs. They gave me an estimate the same day and we scheduled a day to bring it in.
