This place is very unprofessional.
My car was towed from my friends house it took 30 minutes for them to answer the phone not to mention when I get in my car I have to hurry up and get home to get some rest because I have to go to work and when I wake up the next day I noticed that I have things that are going out of my car that was there the night before my car was towed then I call and I asked him about it and they told me to call Austin Police Department or call the manager they can't do anything if something was stolen out my car... they aren't authorized to go in peoples cars is

I still can't believe a group of people never got together and pressed a lawsuit against this company. They work closely with Anderson group apartments. So if you are looking for an apartment in Austin always ask what kind of contract they have with a towing company and what company it is. If they say something like Bernie's or j&j. Turn around and walk out.

I paid $230 and got my keys and car and the guy let me out the gate sign the papers and everything before I get even went to get my car. And they are sending notices in the mail they still owe the full amount trying to get more money saying I drove off the lot. There is video surveillance showing me paying in cash unless my payment was tampered with by the guy at the window. I paid the full amount. When I called about this they keep saying to call back in the morning. Trying to double charge. I have my receipt and copy of paperwork physical and on file in my computer showing my payment along with

These people are despicable, They prey on unsuspecting people vehicles parked in legitimate paid private parking areas where they have spotters lurking and wait till your time expires 1minute or more then rush in to grab your car for ransom of $230. Do not patronize private parking lots that's offering you $6...1hour Deals. It's a trap and they will hustle you. They really doesn't deserve a star....

Absolutely fantastic experience being towed by J&J. Their facilities are top notch, from the cute little hole in the wall that you are greeted at by a mysterious pair of illuminous green eyeballs, the retro tumbleweed Texas style of layout they are going for and of course the cute pack of feral zombie cats to set the mood. 10/10 looking forward to getting towed again.

Very quick very efficient, I was parked in wrong spot for about 15'minutes, when I returned my car was gone. Clean lot and helpful staff considering all my prof of ownership was in my SUV, $230 later had my SUV back.

Illegally towed my brand new car from my own complex. Was parked in the supposed visitor spots, literally only had it for a day and was unable to get a parking sticker yet, that's why I parked in visitors. Still towed regardless. Tow enforced sign was also on the ground in violation of Texas towing regulations. Very shady and unethical company.

0 stars. Absolute crap fest. This company targets low-income complexes and doesn't hesitate whatsoever to tow your vehicle. Seems like they always come during the weekends and make no exception your car will be gone. It's not only the complexes fault that there's limited visitor parking, but the fact that they seek out this place knowing there going to take advantage of these low income households. The business itself looks absolutely horrendous. Trailer trash looking building with potholes the size of moon craters everywhere. Awful service too with no help at all from the employees

This company scouts the area just to tow students. There can be 30 open parking spots and they will still tow because they are money hungry, despite the residents not caring. They are unprofessional and rude as well.

These men are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE humans. I guess you have to be to own a business specifically scamming innocent people. I was parked in the guest parking at my friends apt complex and got towed for absolutely no reason. $250 down the drain when our economy is at its worst. When I came up to the window the man answered me "yeah???" In the rudest tone. At the end of paying this incompetent human, I suggested he shouldn't greet people in that manner, since you're already upset because your car is held hostage. He yelled at me and said "I CAN TALK TO YOU HOWEVER I WANT"

Predators who care only about money without a thought about the serious impact they have to those whose vehicles they hunt. My son had to borrow my car when his wouldn't work. He left an explanation and an apartment number and phone number clearly taped up to the windshield. Did they care or have the heart to make that simple phone call? No. Money first, humanity be damned. Legalized robbery of the poor.

Completely failed to tow several cars that took 10 of my apartment parking spots, absolutely awful at their service, rude and cusses at people for no reason. This student I saw on my way out was coming to pick up his friend and this man named Joe was a complete tool screaming and shouting at this college student and threatening to tow him after he kept apologizing for only being there for a couple seconds. Absolutely have no morals and held up traffic with 6 cars in a one way while trying to tow the poor guy. Also almost got into a wreck when their truck almost crashed into a car while towing.

I feel bad reviewing a towing company. I can't give them 5 because it cost a lot of scrilla to get my car back. I gave 3/5 because of the way it heightened my senses to be in a crisis. Their lot is a post-apocalyptic, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome-type deadzone, with ancient rubbish heaps overgrown with poisonous vines, accented by rust and dilapidation. But! It seems like their infrastructure, designed to allow interaction with a customer (read: victim) without exposing the J&J people to retaliation, was perfect for the Pandemic. The intercom and purposefully obstructed viewing window were Big Brother

Rude and disrespectful people! I wish I could give 0 stars. I got towed by them in my own apartment complex because I haven't yet received my parking permit sticker (notified the front desk beforehand). Came down the next day and my car was missing. Had to ask the front desk about the towing company and when I notified J&J that my apartment complex had been aware of the permit issue, I still got charged $200+ to get my own car back! When I was at their location, I asked for a receipt of charges and when I questioned a charge, they were so rude!!
