Services
Austin-Towing and their network of licensed affiliates were founded with a goal of rendering only the very best, most trustworthy roadside assistance and local towing services. We operate throughout Austin as well as in most suburbs. Because we want to ensure the satisfaction of those who have come to rely on our professional services, we've made providing those services one of our top priorities.
When you've got a car issue, the thing that you should be most concerned about is how to get your car up and running again - not how much it will cost to do so. However, because cars cost so much money and can take a lot of repairs, the cost is definitely an issue - especially if there are hidden fees you aren't aware of.
We and our network of independently owned and licensed affiliates are well aware of the misconceptions people share towards any type of car-related service. Having to spend a day in the garage we are always anxious about an unforeseen problem that might arise and cost us money we did not expect to spend.
Austin-Towing is known for providing superior and time-tested roadside assistance and towing services. Just read some of our client testimonials! Brad Hill 3/25/2012: I tell you what, it sucks when there's a nail or other sharp object on the road and you don't see it. I ran over this huge nail the other day and bam!
Towing Austin Pros and their network of licensed affiliates experts provide you with the best line of flatbed tow trucks in the city! We are a reputable towing company open 24 hours a day for roadside emergencies as well. We have a large team of reliable roadside specialists that can be contacted round-the-clock for assistance.

The service itself was done well, but after being charged $170 without any service initially they blocked my personal phone number and refused to answer my calls after calling from 4 am until I tried calling from a different phone number which I was given immediate response and service. Very upset about not knowing where my car was for 13 hours + being charged

I needed a jump start. They took an hour and a half to arrive. The website makes a big deal of honest pricing. It quotes $59 for a service call and implies it includes a jump start but the price kept on going up as the arrival time was delayed to $130. The contractor they farmed it out to was there less than 2 minutes. They refer calls to contractors outside the city and charge a huge markup. No one should use this service.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
The first red flag was being quoted for under $75, which changed to $170 after they ALREADY dispatched someone. Needing to get on the road quickly, I accepted. After waiting for an hour and a half for a tow, I called the driver to see where he was, to which he replied "for which car?", telling me that I was in a queue and was not being actively helped. He then told me he would find out and "call me back", which he never did.
Shortly after, I was able to get my car started, and while driving home, called to cancel the tow truck which

I am writing to mention how upset I am regarding the price charged for the service I received on 07/05. According to the price table below, I was supposed to be charged

59 for a service call and/or 35-75 for a tow in the same city.
What happens is that I scheduled one day in advance a tow for 8:00 AM in a non-emergency call, the tow truck arrived only 10:30AM and was able to jumpstart my car, therefore no tow was necessary.
Even though, when the tow person called the company to ask how much he should charge the value was $150.00.

200$ to change a flat 1.5 miles away from their shop. I've been towed for cheaper. My tire is rattling when I get into the 50mph range or faster. Way too expensive for a tire change that wasn't even done correctly. Price quoted over the phone was lower than what the driver quoted, and it took a while for them to respond.

FIND ANOTHER TOWING COMPANY!! If you are in a bind and need a tow truck asap find someone else! I waited 2.5 hours for a tow truck. After every 30 minutes I called and the driver was "10 minutes away". No clue how these guys are still in business when I'm seeing the same exact reviews. It's hard when you are put in a situation where you don't have time to check reviews or research towing companies. :(

If I could give zero stars I would.
My car broke down in a neighborhood near my house. I called around 6pm. I was told it would cost $89 for the tow. My first mistake was to give them my credit card over the phone at that moment. I thought it would help get the tow truck to me faster.
I was told the tow truck driver would call me to confirm his transit. 30 minutes later, no call. I call back. Long hold on phone, at least 5 minutes. Finally they say they will call the driver and call me back. Never called me back. After an hour, I call again, ready to cancel and call another company

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOWING COMPANY. It was hard to understand them on the phone, the tow truck driver I met at the drop off location barely spoke any English, hydar was his name. When I got in my car a couple weeks later I noticed about $200 worth of stuff missing including my purse. There is also a enormous dent on my passenger door that was not there before. When I called they gave me the number for the owner of the company and he told me there is nothing they can do about the missing items and the damage caused to my car. HORRIBLE SERVICE OVERALL.

Terrible experience. Needed a tow and was quoted a specific price range based on start location and stop location. Was told driver would be here in 30 minutes. Driver called after 25 minutes and said he was 30 to 45 minutes out. An hour later he's still not there. 45 minutes later driver calls, is very difficult to understand but he can't find us. He is not making a lot of sense. We give him the address again. He says he'll put it into his gps...gee there's a good idea. Now the office calls...the driver is at the wrong address...he's now coming to the right address. 30

I called to get a quote on towing my vehicle. He mumbled while stating their service prices. I asked for my specific situation what would the estimated total cost would be. He restated (or really re-mumbled) the pricing spiel about services that I could not fully understand "something something $35-55, something something, $3 per mile over 10 miles". I told him I don't fully understand what he is saying, I just wanted the total estimated pricing. His reaction is what angered me -- "You may be used to getting whatever the h*ll you want princess, but this is the way we do it

Needed my car moved to north austin. I was quoted a max of 125$ and ended up paying 240$!!!!! Totally screwed me over and i'm dealing with this now because the driver overcharged.
18 mile trip
50$ for the service call, he charged me 55$
65$ for the tow for 10 miles. OK , that was correct
8 miles over at 3$ a mile, he said 10 miles over, but charged me 60$ (Really?)
60$ for special equipment, which he never asked if I was ok with using skates for my rear wheel drive car? That's for front wheel only, total BS.
Called them to discuss this, they called back at 11:30pm. The driver said he
