If you have any HMO insurance plan, please make sure that your Primary Care Physician (PCP) is in network with Beaumont Hospital. Ultrasound examinations are a safe and painless procedure. Ultrasound scans use sound waves to construct a picture of your baby. An ultrasound is used to check the baby's growth and take a head-to-toe look at the baby's anatomy. The detail provided by an ultrasound depends on how far along you are in the pregnancy, the amount of fluid around the baby, and the size of the mother.
Women First is overjoyed to offer online childbirth and parenting preparation classes that you can conveniently take from your home. Every woman's labor and delivery experience is unique. Prenatal classes can only serve to give the expectant couple an overview of the labor and delivery experience. An increased understanding of the birth process has proven to help relieve fear and anxiety, thus making having a baby a positive experience.

After years of hearing “that’s normal” from other doctors and feeling frustrated, I finally found Women First and Dr Moore. It was not normal and they immediately ordered every test and procedure so that I could find out what the issue was.
I felt incredibly taken care of and HEARD for once.
I’ve been a patient since 2016 and refer everyone I can.

Dr. Moore and midwife Angie have taken amazing care of myself and my baby thus far. They are extremely knowledgeable and always open to questions. Honestly, all of the doctors I’ve seen here have been such a delight.
However, I’d like to specifically recognize Nurse Gina. I am typically connected to her via the answering service and she is PHENOMENAL. She has carefully listened to all of my concerns and given me the best medical/ experiential advice anytime I’m anxious about aspects of my pregnancy or have questions after hours. When you’re a first time mom everything is so new and scary

I was going to wait until after the birth of our first child to post my review, but I’ve been coming to Women First for about 8 or 9 years before my pregnancy so I have a lot of experience with their office and staff. I recommend it to every person who asks for OB/GYN recs in the area. Pre pregnancy I always went to Dr. Kaiser Blase and she is just fantastic. When I was having stomach issues a few years ago she showed compassion and was thorough and ruled out anything that could be happening. Since becoming pregnant in March of 2021 I have seen every doctor. Every single one of them has been

I absolutely love coming here. I left my old OBGYN due to their absolutely rude and unprofessional staff, to be greeted by an amazing one and Women First. Everybody is great, the front staff is friendly, the midwives I’ve seen have been amazing, even the ultrasound technician and the woman who takes lab samples are all great!
My problem falls with their communication, specifically when I call. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to get through to them the first time, and it usually takes several hours, to the next day to get a call back. This includes their nursing line and prescription line

First pregnancy, switched OBs halfway through my pregnancy. Here is my experience and dissatisfaction with the services provided by this practice.
WF is a large practice with 13 doctors and midwifes. At the first prenatal appointment,
they recommend that you cycle through them to get to know each doctor before the due date. I had attempted to book an appointment with my PCP each time I went. Did not see her once. Instead I saw a NP twice, PA and one doctor. Being midway though my pregnancy, meeting 1/13 of the doctors….not sure how that logic works?
My last appointment at WF was a significant

Typical wait times.
Staff is friendly.
When you call the office, most of the time you can expect to leave a voicemail and wait for someone to return your call. Typically I’ve waited 2-4 hours for a call back which seems reasonable for non-urgent matters.
Beware that if you get an IUD and they tell you that you need to schedule a follow up appointment for a string check in a few weeks to check placement, that you will be billed as an outpatient visit and not as a follow up appointment. Insurance typically does not cover this type of outpatient visit.

Go here if you don't care about the well being of the mother or your unborn child.
During our 20 week checkup they rushed us out the door without explaining of the ultrasound (since there was conflicting info) or tell us the status of the 5cm ovarian cyst. They have never offered to give a urine test and when asked we were pointed to a room full of unorganized peed in dixie cups.
After we switched practice we discoverd that we were late for the Rhogam shot and the baby was concerningly undersized ~10 percentile. I wish this was discovered sooner and addressed early not at 32 weeks. Hoping for

I really hate that I chose this practice to go through my second pregnancy through. The receptionist no matter how many of them never answer the phones meanwhile they are always giggling with one another. Your forced to see every dr and my experience with h them is like a assembly line because every dr information is different. I also have issues with actually following up with information provided along with my care. The only positive is having my baby at Beaumont but at this point I would've chosen another provider

I’ve tried to be patient with them, but their communication is messy. They assured me they’d send a script to my CVS. I went to CVS, waited in a long line, and the pharmacist said they had nothing for me from Women’s First. I had to call the office again to ask for the script to actually be sent. They’re terrible at answering phones and always ask you to leave a message. If they call you back and you miss the call and call them again, they want you to leave another message. I had to be stern with them that I was not leaving another voice message for them.
