Dental disease is one of the most common and yet ignored health issues in pets. By three years old, more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats demonstrate signs of periodontal disease. This is a result of plaque formation and resulting bacteria infecting the gum line. If plaque, which is a sticky substance containing millions of bacteria forms, is not removed often it can harden into tartar.

Honestly, I enjoyed everything about my experience with Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic. From speaking with the receptionist, being greeted by the nurse, and discussing my pet’s health with the doctor I felt valued and that my fur baby’s health was a priority. I did not feel like “just another number”, we were not rushed, and I loved that I was able to sit in the exam room with Ace. I highly recommend Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic.

I have been taking my pup here for almost a year now. They make sure she is comfortable and find the best pricing for her medicine combos. The staff is so sweet and absolutely love all the animals that come in there. My baby was adopted from Heritage.A few of the staff helped at Heritage and knew her, they are the best every time she comes in. I absolutely love this Vet.

A licensed veterinarian working at the Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic , in a illness that a competent veterinarian would easily have recognized , completely ignored the obvious symptoms and ignored treatments and testing which by veterinarian standards of service would have been performed instead they chose to misdiagnose my sisters cat. After… the doctor realized the mistreatment and the incompetence gave her information of another vet. Hummmm. Family is completely broken because your lack of care,incompetence and lack of treatment. You are the reason Sugar is no longer with our family

This place is absolutely amazing! My one year old Siberian husky got out of his collar because he was scared and ran almost a mile away. The vet assistant ran after him with me and 2 other vets came in a car and gave us a ride back to the office. I have never meet such selfless people who were so committed to finding my dog. Thank you guys for helping me catch my handsome boy. I will always be grateful! 100% recommend.

How disappointed we are with the Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic. I have a one-year-old service puppy in training for Canine Companions for Independence. Before the pup even arrived in Williamsburg I had an appointment with Dr Chris Dewitt, asking among other things if they would be able to work with an organization like CCI, if a question of… treatment ever came up. He said of course they would do this. CCI owns the dogs, and as a puppy raiser for the first 18 months, I volunteer to raise the pup, follow all vaccine protocols, pay for everything as it comes up - and if all goes well, turn

Unbelievable. Waited like all others have to get an inside appt for my two rescues. One is a permanent foster and a non profit rescue takes care of his medical bills. Just needed to get their heart meds. Was told i would receive a link that day to order rx in email. Never got it. Called several times to let them know. They tried and could not get… the link emailed to my hotmail. They knew the urgency due to the wait and issues with their online pharmacy it had been 3 months of no meds. I emailed and called (while working crazy hours at work trying to keep my own job) asking to please help
