After sharpening his scissors and his skills in major salons for the past two decades, owner Brendan was inspired to open a more personalized salon, on the strength of quality over quantity. I cannot say enough about this salon! First and foremost they are taking every precaution to make certain that you are safe. They keep masks on at all times and are constantly cleaning. Now onto the hair! Oh my gosh if you want an expert colorist you must book with Sarah. She is a magician. The owner Brendan is extremely talented as well. I would give them both more than 5 stars if I could. I would without hesitation recommend Heed House Salon to anyone.

Want a best in class stylist and hair colorist? Check out Heed House Salon. I am in the process of trying to move to Toronto and the border closure brought me to Amherst NY. I have been with Brendan for over 20 years- he did my hair for my wedding 18 years ago, lol! That is why I was so happy for him when he opened his own salon. Heed House represents Brendan perfectly- it is a calm and comfortable atmosphere with beautiful decor and custom artwork and the convenience of LOTs of parking! Brendan listens to your needs and every visit begins with him asking if you are still happy with your color/ cut. I can't even begin to say how many years I have been following Brendon where ever he lands. So now as an owner of his own salon it is amazing! Couldn't be happier for his continued success and personalized approach to caring for each clients needs- if you ever find your self looking for a new stylist who is 100% about listening too what your looking for and following through with the best results book an appointment! I've been going to Brendan for over 12 years, and he has never disappointed. Now that he has his own place, the experience is better than ever. Heed House is a boutique salon, so you're usually only in there with one other client at a time, sipping prosecco and feeling pampered from start to finish. With Brendan, its all about the details...from the fantastic décor to the completely personalized service, no detail is too small. I feel energized and recharged when I leave, and my hair looks amazing. I even bring my daughters there (ages 8 and 16), and he treats them like princesses.
