Practice owner Dr. Nadim Guirguis, DMD, MSD, is a native of Las Vegas. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Guirguis went on to complete his orthodontic training at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, earning a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
All orthodontists must be licensed to practice, but at this time only 1 in 3 orthodontists have continued on to complete Board Certification. The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
Our goal at Mountain View Orthodontics is to make orthodontic treatment affordable for everyone. As a matter of convenience to patients, Dr. Guirguis also offers an automatic draft from checking accounts or credit cards. We will review all the fees associated with treatment and the financial options available during your complimentary orthodontic consultation.
As a courtesy to you and your family dentist, we will always discuss the feasibility of braces or tooth straightening without charging a fee for the initial consultation. As a rule of thumb, we like to evaluate young patients after the 6-year molars erupt and the front permanent teeth just start to appear.
It's more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces, so the teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. Patients who do not keep their teeth clean may require more frequent visits to the dentist for a professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment.

Seamingly Straight was hired to install some Custom Murals for Mountain View Orthodontics. I was able to watch this group of workers interact with patience and each other. This group of people act more like an extended Family. They work as one unit...each person helps their co-worker while they are doing their own tasks. Dr. G is the best. He’s knowledgeable, personable and will get you the perfect smile. His staff is also very friendly. They’re so welcoming and always willing to fit your needs. First things first Doctor G and his staff are absolutely amazing. I cannot even begin to write all the amazing things about them. From the first time you set foot into the office until your last your treated like family. Doctor G is very knowledgeable and wants the best possible treatment for you. This place makes you feel like family. Right when you open the door and before it closes they know exactly who you are and call out your name to say hello. It’s absolutely a positive and refreshing experience when I visit my orthodontist and his passionate staff.
