Stratham-Newfields Veterinary Hospital
Stratham-Newfields Veterinary Hospital is proud to be the only veterinary hospital in the NH Seacoast that is Accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) & owned by a Board-Certified Specialist in Canine & Feline Practice (ABVP). Per the latest CDC guidelines, a face covering, over your mouth and nose, should be worn at all times, regardless of vaccine status, in buildings in areas of substantial transmission.

We have staff members who live with immunocompromised people or those too young to be vaccinated. We want to remain healthy and open and fully staffed to be here for YOUR PETS! Please, PLEASE do not harass the staff over this. It has been a long year for all of us, too. SNVH has been the ONLY veterinary hospital that has remained open for clients to enter the building in this area since the beginning.
Services
Our goal at Stratham-Newfields Veterinary Hospital is to ensure the complete satisfaction of every client, while providing the most advanced facility, equipment and medical team available to care for your furry family members! When we say we provide the best quality healthcare for your pet, we don't just offer a promise, we offer the proof.
The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) represents a group of clinicians who have chosen to pursue advanced clinical training. Dr. Sonnya Dennis is 1 of 4 Board-Certified Specialists in Canine and Feline Practice in the State of New Hampshire and is the only ABVP-certified veterinarian in primary care in the Seacoast.
Petly is a great way to view your pet's health records, anytime, plus you can easily connect with us at your convenience. It offers many features to help you keep track of your pet's health needs and shares informative articles on the latest trends in pet health. If you have given us your e-mail for reminders, your Petly page is ready and waiting for you.
Dr. Sonnya Dennis received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She is Board-Certified in Canine and Feline Practice with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, only one of four in the state of New Hampshire and the only Board-Certified veterinarian in primary care in the Seacoast.
Dr. Capraro has a particular affection for our feline friends (read "cat crazy"). She loves all aspects of primary and preventative care, including dentistry, nutrition, and surgery. When Dr. Capraro is not busy with veterinary medicine, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family.

I just moved up here a couple months ago I was nervous of course coming to a brand new vet to take care of my Fur baby but I’m very happy I went with the choice of picking Stratham Newfields! Very friendly staff and professional treated my dog so well at his first visit and made him feel at ease because he was super nervous they even sent such a nice thank you card in the mail ! and my dog had a quick emergency and needed to be seen and they told me to come in right away and it was 10 minutes before they were closing ! Very passionate and nice love this place !!

The quality and compassion exhibited by the staff is exemplary. I travel 25 minutes to their office and there us no other practice that I would consider.

At first, this place seemed great and that they knew what they were talking about. Which I'm sure they do. Unfortunately, they are highly focused on their bottom line and making profits and seem to charge up to 3 times what other vets I have later experienced, which is a shame. I wish that they would focus more on the health and well-being of the pet and family.

As a past employee, I have nothing but love and appreciation for these guys! There's been multiple instances they've been able to get me in 10 minutes before closing, on a Friday, or even right at closing for emergencies! Not only did they make sure I got the best care all weekend, they personally checked in on my animal and me! They willingly stayed late because they all know that your fur baby is family! Highly recommend! :)

For seven years I have trusted this office with my dogs. They helped me get through the unexpected passing of one of my dogs, and continue to care for Oscar. They have shown again and again, that he is not just a "Dog" or a number from a file. They know him by face and name. The staff seem to genuinely care about him and me. I recommend this office to anyone who asks.
