Since 1981, Dr. Scott Wehrkamp and Dr. Jeff Wehrkamp have been providing patients from Sioux Falls and beyond with exceptional dental care. We have very high standards when it comes to creating healthy, beautiful smiles. Not only do we work very hard to achieve customer satisfaction, we also offer a comprehensive range of today's best preventive, cosmetic, and restorative services.
We have two dental assistants, three dental hygienists, and three clerical staff. We have a hygienist and an assistant who have been with us since 1981 and the overall staff average is over 15 years. We feel this not only says a lot about loyalty and dedication to the doctors, but also speaks volumes about the type of dentistry being performed.
We're proud to offer the latest in technology and smile design. Dr. Scott Wehrkamp and Dr. Jeff Wehrkamp are devoted to their craft and enjoy helping patients experience modern dentistry at its finest. Through a combination of state-of-the-art technology, years of experience, and artistic skill, we create smiles that far exceed our patients' expectations.
For each patient, we provide a complete comprehensive exam, which takes about an hour and a half. This includes a soft tissue exam, a TMJ screening, an oral cancer screening (including Velscope), digital X-rays, intra and extra oral photographs, DIAGNOdent (laser) decay detection, complete charting and a periodontal probing of each tooth.
Your smile can last for a lifetime with the right care over the years. Besides your oral hygiene habits at home, the American Dental Association recommends you visit your dentist at least twice a year for a dental cleaning and checkup to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

I've been to several dentists/orthodontists over the course of my life and I've never felt better taken care of than I do by Dr. Scott and his team. I recently moved my kids (7, 5) from their Pediatric dentist to Dr. Scott as well and am so glad I did. The front desk staff is so helpful and is always ready with answers regarding what is and is not… covered by your insurance. They're happy to help and have treated me and my family with kindness 100% of the time. From the time I met Dr. Scott Wehrkamp all the way thru my first visit, I was impressed by him, his staff, and the difference a great dental practice makes. Because of both gum and bone loss, I am a prime candidate for losing my teeth. However due to excellent cleaning by Geri and tips on how to save my teeth by both Geri and Dr. Scott I just had a great check-up. No cavities and teeth that are still pretty solid. Dr. Scott has done so much to help me keep my teeth and I am most grateful to him and his staff.
