Services
Dr. Justin Nichols is originally from Sioux Falls and is a graduate of O'Gorman High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Dakota and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has been an essential part of the Prairie Dental Center team since joining us in 2005.
Because your oral health is our highest priority, we at Prairie Dental Center aim to provide you with exceptional customer service and high-quality care. We utilize advanced technology such as dental lasers and digital X-rays to improve your oral health and smile. We also provide a wide range of dental services in a comfortable environment.
One option we offer to those who are missing teeth is the ceramic fixed bridge. Ceramic fixed bridges are permanent, tooth-colored appliances that use the two teeth adjacent to the missing tooth to create a literal tooth bridge. Not only do ceramic bridges replace your missing teeth, they will also restore the function of your bite (allowing you to chew and speak with ease) and enhance the beauty of your smile.
Ceramic veneers are an effective treatment for those who want to enhance the beauty of their smile. Ceramic veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells custom-made to fit your teeth comfortably. When in place, veneers can make your smile appear flawless. If you are interested in learning more about Ceramic veneers, please call Prairie Dental Center in Sioux Falls, SD to schedule your consultation with our dentist.
At Prairie Dental Center, we offer a variety of cosmetic dental treatments to enhance the appearance of your teeth. But did you know that we offer cosmetic BOTOX and dermal filler treatments in Sioux Falls, South Dakota? Our dentist, Drs. Nichols, Cicmanec and Heinz, can use this treatment to create the perfect accent to your new smile.

I called Dr. Nichols with a dental crisis, but because of Covid, we decided it was not an emergency. As soon as he began seeing limited patients, he remembered me and I got a call! Very pleasant office staff and assistants! Dr. Nichols took the most conservative approach to get the best results for me! Thank you very much!

For years we've gone to Prairie Dental Center, however a few years ago they were no longer a provider under our dental insurance so we had to switch. I really did not like the new dentist we were forced into...not because they were necessarily bad, they just weren't Prairie Dental Center. Thankfully, our dental coverage recently added Prairie Dental Center again and we immediately switched back.
So why the loyalty to Prairie Dental Center?
When my mom was 2-3 years into her battle with cancer she started having some issues with her teeth. It was likely a side effect of all the drugs she was taking
