Raabe Family Dentistry has been serving families in Colorado since 1907 when John Raabe's grandfather, Max M. Raabe, started his practice in the mining boomtown of Leadville, relocating to Denver, CO in 1922. John's father, Max H. Raabe, joined the business after practicing in the Army's 10th Mountain Division during World War II.
In addition to your oral health, your time and convenience are important to us. In most cases we can complete veneers, crowns, inlays and onlays in a single visit, cutting down on the amount of time you need to take away from your day and the number of visits to the office. This revolutionary technology also prevents the need for an impression and having to wear a temporary since no second visit is necessary.
Our staff is well-trained, experienced and caring. We strive to provide a "whole health" and wellness approach to your dental care and welcome you to our family of patients. Kara comes to Raabe Family Dentistry with 27 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. Most recently, Kara acted as General Manager for Peak Athletics and the Director of Spa & Fitness Operations for the Cherry Creek Country Club.
Dr. Raabe began working in his family practice in 1998. He transitioned to the Chief Clinician and President of Raabe Family Dentistry in 2002. He received his DDS in 1990 from the University of Colorado and received his B.S. in Perceptual Physiology from the University of Michigan in 1984. He has completed many additional hours of training in aesthetic dentistry, implants, craniofacial pain and obstructive sleep apnea treatments.
CEREC (CERamic REContstruction) is a dental restoration product that allows your dentist to produce an indirect ceramic dental restoration using a variety of computer assisted technologies, including 3D photography and CAD/CAM. With CEREC, your teeth can be restored in a single, rather than the multiple sittings required with earlier techniques.

Competency, communication....these are things you want from a professional, this is what I've had with Dr. Raabe and his team. They said day 1 they would never just drill away someone's teeth without extensive research...I'm 100% for it...you cant regrow tooth and some dentist seem to think you can...Happy telling everyone I know there's still a native dentist who knows Coloradoan people, and how to treat honest hard working people correctly.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Raabe and his staff. I had gone to a dentist previously who tried to tell me that I needed 6 fillings, so I was referred by a friend to Dr. Raabe for a second opinion. It turns out I only needed 2 and the other dentist was just trying to get me to pay for unnecessary work. Dr. Raabe has great bedside manner and has always been super honest, and he does great work. I send everyone I know to see him.

Dr. John Raabe is an amazing dentist and compassionate human being. My late father was born in Leadville, Colorado and the waiting room mural of Harrison St , the "main street" in Leadville, is beautiful! So I've just moved to Denver and needed to find a dentist anyway, but this morning my crown pinged off so that need became more immediate. I called Raabe Dentistry as they have cerec technology. I was so lucky to get an appointment on the same day. Dr Raabe and his whole team were wonderful (as I am a nervous patient). He explained what he was doing every step of the way and my crown was fixed, better than before. As a result of the great experience, I signed up as a new patient.

I'm so thankful that I found Raabe Family Denistry after having a really bad experience with a previous dentist. Dr. Raabe was extremely thorough. He and his office did everything possible to make me feel comfortable and welcome. It is clear from reviews on Dr. Raabe's healthgrades profile that he has many patients who have been coming to his office for years, even decades. Deciding to come to Raabe Family Dentistry was a very well researched decision for me and I truly believe that this is one of the best dentists in the area.

Dr. Raabe saw me following a workman's comp accident to my mouth. After numerous visits to a Comfort Dental location (the companies primary referral) I asked for a second opinion when my issues continued getting worse, rather than better. From the first visit as a consultation, he created a plan for care and didn't hesitate on getting it fixed as soon as possible. I ended up having multiple visits to the office. Charlie was great and personable, each member of the team was kind and friendly. Dr. Raabe is awesome! Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and a man with a plan. I definitely recommend him

I feel very fortunate that I was referred to Dr. Raabe by another excellent doctor of mine. Good doctors tend to know good doctors, well, Dr. Raabe and his office staff are GREAT.
I sincerely appreciate the difference they’ve made in the quality of my life. Dr. Raabe’s office is cozy, comfortable, and calm. The office is also is shared w/INTEGRATED TMJ & SLEEP SOLUTIONS, focusing on holistic ways of treating the debilitating effects of bad TMJ issues.
Dr. Raabe identified a way to fix a mouth guard so I grind less, combined with the treatments/therapy Dr. Raabe recommended, I REALLY AM FEELING

I met Dr. Raabe after a horrible car accident that damaged all my teeth. After 6 months of appointments and preparation, he removed all my teeth and gave me new ones. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. John Raabe for about 5 years. He is a great dentist. Not once has he ever recommended work we didn't need (unlike other dentists I've seen). He is a gentle dentist, and the hygienists are friendly and express a caring concern. Charlie, the office manager, goes out of her way to make you feel welcome.

I was referred to Dr. Raabe's office by a good friend. I am glad I went. I saw Dr. Harvan and had my teeth cleaned. The office is very modern and everyone I came in contact with from Charlie to Mary and Dr. Harvan were very sweet. I felt very comfortable and was thoroughly explained everything through visual exrays and pictures so I could see everything for myself. I am very excited to make dentist my family dentis!!

I was searching for a new dentist and I am so glad that I picked Dr. Raabe's practice. They made me feel at home and comfortable as I am usually nervous and anxious at the dentist. The staff was very professional and prompt (and also nice to look at). I really appreciated not getting the "Hard Sell" on procedures that I didn't need. The hygienist was gentle and did a wonderful job and I would recommend her to everyone. The dentist was involved in all aspects of the appointment and was quite pleased with his expertise. I am uninsured so I am always a bit nervous when it comes

I've been a patient at Raabe Family Dentistry for two decades. How good do I feel going to a third-generation dentist? Good. Really good. The staff are fabulous from the doctors, office staff, and dental professionals. I've had problems arise on a weekend and Dr. Raabe called me and then met me on a Sunday. How many dentists would do that for their patients? My mother, son, fiance and her family have all moved from their dentists to Dr. Raabe over the past few years. I am glad he is young so I won't have to find another doctor in my lifetime.

I cracked a tooth last week. Yep, right down the middle. Apparently, I've been stressed out and started clenching (not quite grinding) my teeth and *poof*, my tooth cracked. A call to Dr. Raabe's office led to them squeezing me in at lunchtime, and I was examined by his wonderful dental assistant and the diagnosis and work was performed by his co-worker Chris Harvan.
The offices are clean, modern and high tech. Doctor Harvan showed me my giant cracked tooth on the computer screen at the chair, using a little camera on a pen like thingy..... While Dr. Raabe couldn't fit me in
