I rented a 1BR from Shoreline for 7 years—we finally moved after they began getting worse and worse about responsiveness and upkeep. One of the final straws was learning from maintenance staff that our building was being targeted by thieves who would break into the basement to tip over the laundry machines and steal quarters. This had happened multiple times and the landlord and management simply refused to let the tenants know about a legit safety concern.
Although I do sometimes miss the steady radiator thumping that made me feel like someone was practicing their hammer game.
Avoid if possible

Be ready for winter in wisconsin that heating at the Plaza apartments is not even bare minimum, its poor insulation makes the lack of normal heating worse. Heat is included in the rent, tell me why it turns on 1-2times a day while its 30 degrees outside bro. Turn up the heat or get new windows that insulated cause I pay for heat. They constantly have break ins at the parking lot here I would recommend paying $100 extra for secure parking at a different location or be prepared like me to have your car broken into 3 times in 5 months thus far. The location is close to school and the bars that the

When I was there back in 2013-2016, they were always amazing. Never had any problems with either the apartment or any of the Shoreline staff. If I ever move back to Milwaukee, Shoreline would be my first choice to rent from. Would recommend to anyone.

I've lived in their 414 N 75th St. building for a year. If I did it all over again. I might not have rented from here. It's not that the Apt. Mgr is bad, he's nice, and tries to get things fixed quickly. When I first looked at the apartment, I was shown his, and since it's the same layout, I thought that would be good enough, however, the windows in my apartment were cracked when I moved in. I was told that since the management company was planning on upgrading the windows soon, that it wasn't going to be fixed right away. You can hear every noise outside, in the hallway, and above you (full hardwood

Shoreline is a terrific outfit! I have worked with leasing agent Kevin and building manager Kit. Both have been extremely kind, patient, and helpful. My move was very complicated, and they were both very nice and consistently responsive as I drew on their help over an extended period. Though I ultimately signed on for Berkshire, I visited units in several of their buildings—they were each very desirable, and reasonably priced. It’s good to know that there’s such a decent and reliable housing option in the area. Thanks, Shoreline!

I lived in Stratford Apartments for a little over a year. I had a really good experience for my first apartment. Rent cost was not bad at all for the size and having the first month paid for was great. I moved in and they redid the hardwood floors. Heat is also included! It is an older building so there are a few things radiators and sticky windows that you can expect. I would've loved newer appliances in the kitchen especially the stove since the pilot light went out quite a few times and I had an apartment that smelled like gas which scared me at times. Also the bathroom door does not close in

We lived at the Lexington Apartments for 3 years and it’s was a great experience. The apartments were very modern, with the best kitchens I’ve seen in a downtown apartment. Very affordable too compared to the rest of the downtown market, centrally located, parking spots, walking distance to everything, a grocery store only a block away, and friendly neighbors. The management was also quite responsive when needs did arise, with a dedicated maintenance staff that generally responded within hours. I would highly recommend this location to anyone, the only reason we left was because we bought a

My experience with Shoreline was pretty enjoyable. Unit was priced nicely and the 1st months rent special was really nice. Hardwood floors and kitchen were in good shape. Lived in one of their units for just over 2 years and never had any major issues with anything. Did not hear much from neighbors for the most part. Few gripes: Maintenance requests were sometimes frustrating, as sometimes people would come a few days later or one time, not at all and I had to re-submit a request. The lack of communication from the landlord when I did have a question or concern was frustrating. Despite the fact

I see a lot of bad reviews, but I had an excellent experience living at Maryland Manor for 2.5 years. The building manager was nice and responsive, the building and my apartment were in great shape. I only ever had one problem, it was with the toilet, and it was fixed within a couple hours. I moved out at the beginning of the month, and they refunded me 3 weeks of that last month's rent. I didn't even ask them to! I never would have thought I would get refunded; it was my choice to move at the beginning of the month.
