After planning her own wedding in 2011, Julia moved to Wisconsin with her husband and began helping friends and family from afar with their weddings and parties. Upon returning to Atlanta she dove into the event industry by working in wedding coordination, private parties and corporate events.
With a degree in English Literature, Julia didn't anticipate working in weddings and events, but she loves seeing the detailscome together and enjoys the story that comes with each event.She currently lives in West Midtown with her family and when she isn't immersed in events she's playing adult league soccer, watching The Office reruns or planning her next trip.

You've got a lot going on, and planning for marriage only adds about twenty new things to the list each week. We get it! We love partnering with couples to ensure their evenings on the couch have Netflix on the screen and a glass of wine in hand. The Wrennwood Design team brings more than 50 years of cumulative experience in the wedding industry -sure, we probably haven't seen it all, but we're close.

We strive to make every wedding or event we have a hand in worthy to grace the glossy pages of your favorite magazine! My Fiance found Wrennwood and worked very closely with Amberly.
We love to step in and partner with couples to take the guesswork and stress out of budgeting, timelines, contracts and everything in between. Sometimes we think our love language might be Excel spreadsheets: hand over the clipboard, and let us take this off your plate allowing you to actually enjoy your engagement.

I got married in April of 2017 and we hired Amberly to help with the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Originally, I had planned on only having someone to help the day of, but after meeting with Amberly and… realizing everything she could do to help, we hired her to help plan the whole thing. She handled everything and responded to the millions of phone calls, texts, and emails of questions that we had. While I could never decide what to do about flowers, we decided to hire her for that too, and she made all my dreams come true within our budget! There was no stress through the planning process

Amberly and her team designed our dream wedding in Atlanta, Georgia this past June at Druid Hills Presbyterian Church and THE ROOF at Ponce City Market! From the very first phone call when I was searching for a wedding planner, to the day of our wedding, Amberly stood out to me from all other planners and planning companies!! We did the design, florist and day of coordinator through Wrennwood Design and our wedding would not have been the same without Amberly & her team!! From the first call, I knew that Amberly understood our vision. I shared a few images we liked and she took it from there. The day of our wedding we were supposed to be outdoors but it ended up being… cold & rainy (in April!) so we made the decision to move indoors. Amberly has the patience of a Saint even when all around her is utter chaos! Her skill at coordinating the various vendors and keep everything flowing smoothly is truly impressive. Her floral arrangements were breathtaking and she totally understood what we wanted and executed our vision to perfection. I highly recommend her and trust me you can take a deep breath and relax knowing it is all going to be perfect!

Amberly is such a class act. Not only does she plan and coordinate with great professionalism, but she seems to maintain a beautiful spirit and energy the whole time- that's unusual when juggling so many details! Amberly was AMAZING!! She took our ideas and built on them! The flowers were Gorgeous! The bouquets, the table arrangements, the pew arrangements---They were all so creative and Beautiful! She even arranged a hydrangea table runner that went the length of the entire Head Table! Amberly educated us on which flowers were appropriate for the… season. This enabled us to choose flowers that would be cost effective and would stay fresh in the heat of August in Atlanta! She also created (from scratch!) some special 'orbs' that would have cost a fortune to buy. These were used as part of hanging

Amberly Odum of Wrennwood Design was wonderful to work with. Being the mother of the bride, with the bride being an art teacher with contemporary ideas, and with the sister of the bride being the wedding coordinator, I was so pleased that Amberly was able to navigate the requests of my girls. My daughter's fiancé is also an artist and the two of them love dinosaurs. Having dinosaurs (painted gold, of course), along with special requests of air plants, geodes and special containers in the table floral decorations was so far reaching to me.
