A free home visitation program, nurses mentor first-time mothers and provide education and support through the child's second birthday. WIC is a federally funded program designed specifically for women, infants and children that provides voucher for nutritious foods and education in a supportive environment.
11/1/2018 Diane Ringler, Early Intervention Manager, recently shared her experiences with infant development as part of WTAJ's positive parenting series. This story focused on babies' ability to predict behavior of others through their social interactions early in life. 4/19/2018 Accidental overdoses continue to rise across our country, leaving families at a loss as to how to assist the children who are grieving.
A free home visitation program, nurses mentor income-eligible first-time mothers and provide education and support from early pregnancy through the child's second birthday. Through education and guidance, nurses talk with mothers about the medical, psychological, social and developmental aspects of being pregnant.
We could not have done it without WIC. I was grateful to get the formula when they were babies, and now I am happy they get the foods they need to stay healthy and be at good weights. Designed specifically for women, infants, and children, this program provides vouchers for nutritious foods and education in a supportive environment.

I wouldnt even give them 1 star. My mother in law came home after 3 weeks in hospital for a tracheotomy n only 1 nurse has done anything. 2nd day I had to show 2 nurses how to clean n pack the hole , 3rd n 4th day which is today NO ONE showed or called. Sum kind of in home care nurses. Shes lucky ik what I'm doing or who knows what would have happened to her n her wounds. Now I c y the dr kept her in so long, he must know that the nurses from Home Nursing dont do a damn thing!!
