Services
Our students are offered a unique, hands-on preschool setting proven to prepare your child for their elementary years. Our program is structured and academic, with a balance of social play in a non-pressured setting. Art, music and storytelling are offered daily. Our infant rooms are painted pink and blue with "Pirates of the Sea & Fairy Tale Princess" theme.
Encourage respect for others by positive reinforcement, redirection and setting clear limits that are age appropriate. Offer daily activities in social play, such as creative arts, imaginary or dramatic play, and building or making something together. Give children greeting at the beginning of the day to let them know they are an important part of the class.
Brookhaven is very proud of the extra curricular activities that we offer in the afternoons. The children are offered a hands on activity that engages them either physically or socially or both! Also, a "Teach 'N Do" visual skill sheet is offered. We learn about the theme of the visual, then use our fine motor skills with coloring or writing or both, engaging them intellectually!
Chapel is offered every Monday morning in our Multi-Purpose Room for Threes and up. We have a session at 9:00, 9:20, and 9:40 in order to accommodate our classes. Our lesson and curriculum developer for Chapel is Christy Eldridge. In Chapel, we trust that God wants us to love one another, and be kind and respectful to each other.
Brookhaven has been the best decision we have ever made for our son Jack's education. Our son is in the Kindergarten program and has been attending Brookhaven for 3+ years. Every year his teachers have been so supportive, loving, and caring. They truly care about their students and it gives us so much comfort in knowing that our son is in the right place with the right people.

We like the small class size and the intro to academics that our two-year-old is receiving. His dad handles afternoon pick up, and our little guy does not want to leave until story time is finished in the afternoon. This is a far less institutional setting than our last day care and it is a good fit for our family.

Everyone should do their own research about daycares/preschools; especially "academic based vs. play based". From personal experience, this place is mediocre at best. The turnover is quite high and the administration is very hands-off. You rarely see one of the owners in the classrooms. They usually stay in their offices. I have a huge problem with the lack of training a new teacher receives. This place is VERY academic focused. They believe it is appropriate for 2 and 3 year olds to be tracing letters and sitting still for long periods of time (while sitting criss cross applesauce--this is required
