Open from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with the exception of lunch bunch for our Pre-K classes until 1 pm. We know how important your child's first school experience is. We know that as a parent you are looking for a safe, healthy, and loving environment for your child(ren). Our curriculum begins in our infant room and builds through to our Pre-K program for 4 and 5 year olds. We believe that every moment is a learning moment. Our classes are enriched with music class once a week, Chapel time, visits from police officers, firefighters, musicians, and baby animals to name a few.

In 1964 Main Street UMC Preschool was founded on the principle of the "Golden Rule, " "I'll treat you the way I would like you to treat me". At that time there was no public kindergarten. So to fill the need, Dot Stone, Doris Simpson, and Grace Moss started a program for four and five-year old children.
Main Street United Methodist Church Preschool offers a Christian Early Childhood Program for infants through 5 years old. Our hours are from 9:00 to 12 noon; with exception of lunch bunch for our Pre-K classes until 1pm. Our goal is to make your child's first school experience a very positive and happy one, placing strong emphasis on nurturing the child's social and emotional development.
YES - We accept current and never in an accident CAR SEATS (check the expiration date printed on the seat), Pack'n Play portable play yards manufactured after 2003, and Convertible cribs and playpens (with top rails that automatically lock into place when setting up the playpen). Please do not attempt to consign recalled items such as "polly pocket", painted metal cars/trucks, all children's jewelry to name a few.
