Services
Laurel is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the state of Florida. She provides counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. The services that are offered include in-person and/or phone sessions, advice sessions via phone or e-mail, counseling intensives and speaking engagements upon request.
All counseling sessions must be booked in advance; our office cannot accept walk-ins as Laurel is in session much of the day. Sessions are 50 minutes in length, and the cost is $150.00 per session. Double sessions are offered for $300 (double sessions must be booked when setting the appointment).
Our office does not accept insurance, however if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, a detailed receipt can be provided to you to submit for reimbursement.Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted. If you have a Health Savings Account with a Visa or Mastercard logo, that can be accepted and run through as credit as well.

Laurel is a great Christian Councelor. She provides patients with long term tools to successfully help her patients. Teaching a man to fish instead of a quick bandaid. She is quick to respond to issues outside of the actual meetings. And provides you with her notes after each session in case you forgot what was talked about. I highly recommend her especially for Christians. She loves the LORD with all of her heart and truly has a vested interest in your well being and furthering Gods kingdom

Laurel is perhaps the worse counselor that I have ever visited. I’m not quite sure how one can blend religion and science together when it comes to therapy. I have seen a variety of other therapists who do no such thing. Asking to “pray over you” during therapy is absolutely obsured! She is looking for money, modern day scam artist if you ask me. She spent the entire session telling me to refer the person I spoke to her about to her! Conflict of interest! Please save your money and find someone with better reviews than Laurel, who isn’t seeking client referrals during your appointment and

We took our 13 year old daughter to see Laurel, and the first thing she said as we walked out door from her first session was, "That was awesome!" :-) Not the first words I expected after a counseling session, but I'm incredibly grateful that she connected with Laurel so naturally and found her to be an instant help.
