I was born and raised in Gilroy. I attended Gavilan College and San Jose State University where I studied Biological Sciences. After, I moved to Southern California where I received my dental degree from Loma Linda University in 1992. Since my father, Dr. Alden Banner, was already practicing dentistry in Gilroy for many years, I joined him in his practice in 1992.
This remarkable technique requires only 4 implants in either the upper or lower jaw to support all of the replacement teeth for that dental arch. All-on-4 typically involves only one surgery to place all of the implants, avoids the need for additional bone grafting procedures, and provides the instant gratification of a full set of temporary teeth immediately on the same day as the initial procedure.
