Dr. Van is a native Californian who grew up in nearby Santa Clara, attended Milpitas High School, and then went on to the University of California, Irvine, to earn his Bachelor of Sciences (B.S.) degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the renowned UCLA School of Dentistry and completed his specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry.

I was pleased with this office . My son cracked his two front teeth and has never been seen by a dentist the staff was super friendly my son was entertained by all the fish and entertainment they provide for young children to keep them comfortable. I was squeezed in as a emergency appointment the same day my sons teeth were repaired like they were never broken . Very pleased ❤️

All I can say is, my daughter can’t wait to come back to Dr. Vans dental office. The moment you walk in “Kidz Bop”, of what which my daughter loves, greets you in the lobby & the vibe is set just right for my child. Sandy, the receptionist, is so joyful & informative. Jasmine, one of the dental assistants is always so kind, warm, gentle and welcoming to my 2 y/o. My experience with Dr. Van was above and beyond. He actually cares about his patients and considers all aspect of his patients needs. We had a choice to use anesthesia on our 2 1/5 year old to fill a cavity in her molars and a choice

I recently took my 8 year old son, Ray, to see Dr. Van. My son adora his staff, they are so friendly. Sandy always greets us with a warm smile, the dental assistants, Kimberly and Jasmine are always so patient and kind. And he always looks forward to getting a sticker or treat from Sasha on the way out. I love how comfortable Ray feels in their office.

Glad that we took the chance on a pediatric dentist, rather than finding a new holistic dentist. Ours closed practice unexpectedly, and that’s where we had planned to take our daughter when she turned 2. I was hesitant about using a dentist that isn’t holistic/biological because we don’t do fluoride. I wasn’t sure how the staff/Dr. would respond to that. We had our first visit today, and it was exceptional. It went way better than I could’ve imagined. They treated my daughter and I with so much respect and compassion, and they were very understanding and accepting of our choice to decline

Amazing amazing pediatric practice. From the decor inside to the amazing staff! My daughter has had a random fascination with the dentist long before her first visit and it’s only gotten greater since we’ve gone here. The staff goes above and beyond not only for their patients but the parents as well.
An excitement begins when she knows she’s going to the dentist.
Who knew having cavities can be so fun 😉

My daughter is afraid of the dentist she hasn't had a good expierience. today i tried out a new dentist gilroy pediatrics and wow i was so amazed at how inviting they were to my daughter. she is looking forward to treatment fingers crossed she can finally go to the dentist and enjoy being there!!! thank you to the whole staff at gilroy pediatric dentistry!!!!
