Nearly all insurances cover physical therapy. However, each plan has its own coverage limits, deductibles, and co-pays. You may want to call your insurance or review your member handbook to see what physical therapy benefits your plan provides. We are happy to see patients on a self-pay basis, and payment plans are always available.

We are located in the lower level of the Tualatin Professional Center, on the SE corner of 65th Avenue and Borland Road, just south of Meridian Park Hospital. Take I-5 south to exit 289 (Nyberg Rd.), turn left over the freeway, follow to SW 65th Ave. Go up the hill, turn left at the stoplight for Borland Rd.
Our office is not a large, impersonal clinic where you may end up feeling like just another blip on the schedule. Instead, you will be greeted by name, and welcomed into a relaxed and comfortable environment. You might even get a nuzzle from our resident dog and greeter, Teddy. We are proud to be the kind of clinic that patients recommend to their families and friends.
If you have an upcoming joint replacement surgery, your doctor may recommend "pre-hab." Pre-hab is physical therapy done in the weeks just prior to your surgery. Properly executed, this can dramatically decrease the recovery time after surgery. It focuses on strengthening the muscles that surround the joint that is going to be replaced.
One of the most common conditions we treat is spine-related pain, particularly in the neck or low back. Sometimes the pain begins acutely, as a result of a strain or other injury. Or it can come on slowly, over weeks, months or even years, until suddenly you realize that you haven't had a pain-free day in a long time.

Struggling with severe back pain, I was referred to Therapist Paul Kane by my physician. After my 3rd visit I was feeling remarkably better, with very little discomfort in my lower back. He understands the human body structure and muscle complexities and knows how to manipulate both joint and muscle to achieve maximum results. Honest and trustworthy and genuinely concerned for my health and healing, he went above and beyond as a therapist. His receptionist is professional and courteous and very helpful where insurance issues may be matters of concern. My star rating for him and his staff based

I came to Summit for a painful knee problem. Paul was great to work with. He started me off slow with the exercises and gradually worked me into much harder ones. Eight sessions later my knee felt much better and stronger. He did an excellent job teaching me the correct way to do the home exercises. I would definitely go back to Paul if I need PT again.
Thanks for a great job Paul!!!

I came to Summit PT with very stiff and sore shoulder joints. Paul Kane worked with me over eight sessions and provided immense help for this condition. My range of motion in both arms & shoulders is much better. Pain & stiffness is much relieved. Paul is a great therapist! He was patient and listened well to understand my condition. Paul explained every exercise and manipulation in terms of what they did for my shoulders and what would be the result over time. He was also direct in explaining what, at my age, I should expect to live with and how to do just that. If you need physical therapy, Paul

"The staff and service provided at Summit Physical Therapy is what most small and large businesses dream that they can provide. As a Physical Therapist Paul Kane is an astute diagnostician, an expert designer of the proper therapy, and a joy to talk with as you are going through treatment. Laura, who is the person of contact for appointments, billings, and anything administration is equally service oriented, genuine, a please to work with, and someone you look forward to seeing when you enter their office. I wholeheartedly recommend Summit Physical Therapy for those who need treatment. I felt at

I was diagnosed with degenerative cervical bone issues in my neck, creating pain and restrictive movement to the left and right. Paul was able to release the muscle tensions and tightness over several sessions. Although not a cure, significantly better than the beginning. Paul is personable and a good health professional with a straight forward approach to the Physical Therapy that I needed.

After months of dealing with vertigo, my wife found Dr. Kane. He was immediately helpful and had excellent advice. We particularly appreciated his straight-forward, honest way of working with people. No hurried visits and no pretense. She felt genuinely cared for, and was surprised at how quickly he was able to clear up the problem. Her advice for those with vertigo: skip the ENT and go see Paul!

I waited a year and a half to get approved for my back surgery, By that time I could barely walk. Finally the surgery was allowed and went well (thank you Dr. Tatsumi). He said I needed to have Physical Therapy after the surgery. I was leery as I had tried Physical Therapy before surgery and it was a disaster. HOWEVER, Paul Kane has me walking and moving easily without pain. He took the time to explain what muscles were affected and taught me exercises I could do at home between appointments. He would challenge me just enough each time to make a difference. I couldn't recommend him highly enough

In mid-March I had a disc herniation with 10mm extrusion. The Doctor wanted to do surgery but with COVID-19 happening I didn't want to go to the hospital if I didn't have to. Paul helped me with PT and some home exercises I could do between visits and convinced me to give PT and time a try for my back to heal instead of surgery. The combination of PT and waiting paid off. When I came in to see Paul in March I was using two canes and could barely walk from the parking lot. At end of May I'm walking 5mi/day again without any canes and my leg/back strength is getting better by the day. I would highly
