A lifelong resident of Manatee County, FL, Chris M. Pratt, Esq., attended Palmetto High School and Bayshore High School. After completing his undergraduate studies, he graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1982.
After a short stint working in the public defender's office, Chris went into private practice with Pratt, Rhyne, and Lipinski, P.A. Since 1991, Chris has been the successful sole practitioner at The Law Offices of Chris M. Pratt, P.A.Our office caseload covers a wide variety of legal areas - criminal defense, personal injury (including car wrecks and medical malpractice), and family law.

Chris Pratt showed great integrity, knowledge and in the end help me get a very detrimental ruling overturned. He met with me for an hour and had me write down numerous first and 2nd steps needed to resolve my issue and referred who he described as an expert in this legal area to me. My family paid him 1600 dollars to represent me. He saw me in jail one time then turned my case back over to my aweful court appointed attorney Matt Gish and just took the cash. I was innocent but he did not care. Just wanted money...not justice. I hope he learns to do the right thing in the future and not worry about being the Judge and furthing his practice

The worse lawyer i have dealt with ever. His office is very unprofessional, he him self is a wreck, he showed up to court with no information at all on case i had to do all of the research on the case print it out and email to his office. When leaving court he gave me all his hand written notes i told him wouldn't it just be easier for him to take them instead of me dropping them off his reply was he couldn't because his car was a mess. He stated the next day he was filing motions asap i called all day the next day and was told he was out, in a meeting, at the court house, and handling some things
