June DeStefano Tait, PTis the owner of SPTA since its opening in 1994. A graduate of the University of Lowell, Lowell, MA, she has been practicing physical therapy since 1986. June received a diploma in Integrative Manual Therapy in 2006 from the Connecticut School of IMT which is affiliated with Westbrook College of Arizona.
At Scarborough Physical Therapy Associates we use a comprehensive approach to healing with an emphasis on manual, or hands-on, techniques. These techniques, collectively referred to as Integrative Manual Therapy, address dysfunctions of multiple body systems to best restore structural balance and promote the general healing process.
Scarborough Physical Therapy Associates, P.A. bills most insurance companies as a courtesy to our patients. Most insurance companies will cover a percentage of physical therapy services, but please be aware that most insurance companies also require an authorization/referral from your physician for reimbursement of physical therapy services.
