A healthy pet is so much more than a good diet and exercise. Regular check-ups of all aspects of your pet's health are necessary. These yearly wellness exams allow our hospital to take preventive measures to protect your pet from disease, parasites, and harmful bacteria. Bringing your pet in regularly keeps us up to date on everything about your pet, giving us a baseline so that we can notice changes as your pet ages.
Dental care is essential to your pet's overall health. Without regular dental checkups and teeth cleanings, your pet can show signs of poor oral care as early as age two. These signs can be bad breath, plaque and tartar buildup, swollen gums, and even tooth loss. As important as dental care is, it is also difficult to implement a routine for your pet.
Pet diagnostic tools are imperative for preventing pet disease, maintaining optimal health, and treating injured or sick pets. Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital's diagnostic equipment makes it possible for us to quickly and completely understand your pet's health on a deeper level. Our digital x-rays allow us to view your pet's radiographs quickly, with less radiation exposure and less time needed to take the x-ray.

Brought my dog a few months ago. He has some fear of new people and places. I had a muzzle to put on him and the tech who came out to grab him didn’t allow me to put it on him. After his exam, the vet called me and said he “air bit” her. I believe her, but again I wasn’t allowed time to put his muzzle on. She also ignored me when I said I was working with him in training, cut me off and recommend her trainers. Overall, she was rude and did not listen to me about my animal. I’m not a vet, but I am knowledgeable in animal behavior have been working with dogs for awhile. To be dismissed

We had a great experience with the vet and our cockatiel, Kiwi. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job. He got a mini exam, nails trimmed, wings clipped, and beak trimmed. We were very pleased with the quickness of the appointment and the knowledge of the doctor. The price was also affordable. Great vet!

They are so caring and loving. My baby has bad ear issues typical of an Irish Setter, they know the pain he is in and they are so careful with him. They explain everything that is going on so well even a child could understand it. The reception staff is sooooo sweet. I highly recommend them. They even took care of my English Lop.

I've been taking my cat here for about 2 years. They are pretty good. The doctors are nice, but can be a bit rushed. The front desk is always very helpful and nice. My main problem is the lack of communication... I once was unable to get medication without a runaround to different doctors and waiting even though it's documented in her chart and had been filled there before. I also called and left a message for the techs about medication for moving/traveling as she gets nervous & nauseous... and never got a response. I understand they are busy, but I simply didn't have the time to chase them around

We started with Stoney in 2019. In November of 2020, we had to say goodbye to our Jasper. He had an excellent team and we all worked together to give him quality. When that was no longer an option, they helped us go through the process of saying goodbye to him. The team sees numerous pets but, they are not just another number. They truly love their patients and give them the best care. We recently adopted another rescue and we depend on Stoney to make sure the next 10 (?) years of her life are better than some of the last 10 years
