In a relaxing and safe environment Acupuncture is the practice of inserting ultra-fine needles into meridian points to solve a Chinese diagnosis. Fertility acupuncture is similar to general medicine in that the acupuncturist uses ultra-fine needles to address hormonal concerns which clears the way for pregnancy.
We offer Deep Tissue, Swedish and Prenatal Massage. Our massage therapist calls on a variety of massage techniques to create customized massages for each individual. Just like Western Medicine, we look to Acupuncture for common ailments. We often see patients who have become exhausted by the "system" and look to treat the root condition naturally. I am a first timer with acupuncture and have been quite pleasantly surprised at the experience. I would recommend Beth Schiffman to anyone seeking treatment; she is very experienced, professional, warm, and thorough. The experience at Many Lives has me always wanting to go back! I have found that treatment is also a fantastic way to ground and "regroup" if you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed.

I can't tell you how grateful I am to have found Many Lives! I've been seeing Beth for acupuncture for the last 5 months. Beth has been instrumental in helping me navigate a recent endometriosis diagnosis, surgery, and now recovery. I went to see Beth for issues regarding pregnancy and fertility last year and I am extremely happy with my decision to have chosen to stay with Beth. Beth and her team are extremely knowledgeable, considerate and kind. I started seeing Dr. Davina for my GI and anxiety problems. She is gentle and compassionate. I always feel better after my acupuncture sessions with her. She has done a better job with me than my GI doctor!
Dr. Davina also holds Tai Chi classes every Saturday morning. She starts all classes with relaxation and meditation exercises; these always calm me down. I highly recommend taking her class. My children encouraged me (in the past) to take Tai Chi classes but I was always hesitant because (now that I'm 56 years old) I have difficulty remembering steps and so am very jerky in my movements. But

This is a review for Tai Chi classes offered by Many Lives Chinese Medicine and taught by Davina. This is a wonderful way to introduce yourself to Tai Chi. The classes are held outdoors in a lovely setting by the Bay, the classes are small, and the instruction by Davina is low -key, detailed and easy to follow. Learning Tai Chi is a great way to increase stability, flexibility and relaxation. It’s an ancient form of exercise that has many rewards even into old age. I highly recommend trying it.

I came to Beth during the pandemic, energy depleted, stressed out, going through menopause and not sleeping well. Beth took such good care of me and helped balance my energy and body and gave me some Chinese herbs to decrease the menopause heat at night so I could sleep. Within weeks I was feeling better and after 2 months I felt so much better. Many Lives has been wonderful during this pandemic. I'm a long patient and really began to suffer without my regular treatments. Beth opened up her practice once it was reasonable to do so. The office is taking every precaution to keep their patients protected including masks (of course) but also lots of hand sanitizer and extensive cleaning and disinfecting between patients. I feel complete safe there and am so grateful for the healing treatments I've received in this difficult time. Thank you Many Lives!

Many Lives and acupuncturist Beth Schiffman have helped me more that words can express. I came to Beth suffering with migraines that were debilitating! Beth was so thorough with me and very detailed to gather information about my background. We worked together to make some modifications in my diet and lifestyle that helped tremendously. She listens carefully and attentively to my needs and concerns and formulates a treatment each time to specifically help with my needs at the time. I went to Many Lives for two visits about 4 months ago. Even though I submitted my insurance information ahead of my visit, the office manager still collected the full payment of $220 from my husband while I was being treated. I tried many times to contact them to submit the insurance claim and got no response. Finally I e-mailed Beth directly and I believe that might be why they eventually acknowledged my existence. I went to Many Lives for fertility reasons for 8 months. The individual acupuncturists that I saw during that time were all great, except Beth. I believe she is the owner. I never liked her style- too aggressive for me. What I mean by that is telling me what I need to do, rather than first getting my perspective and preferences, because the same advice doesn't work for every patient.

I am extremely thankful to have found Many Lives Chinese Medicine. I was experiencing secondary infertility and my cycles were irregular. I came to Many Lives and they were able to get my cycles back on track after just a few sessions.
