Welcome to the potential for a custom and unique experience that is non-judgment, compassion, and acceptance. The ability to have a trusting safe relationship is paramount to successful treatment. From first contact we will focus on helping you meet the current challenges in your life. A good therapist must be able to listen and to understand, and then convey this understanding in a caring manner.
Respect and confidentiality is most important! We, Precious Minds Counseling and Consulting (PMCC) strive to encourage self-led therapy. Your therapist will be intentional by allowing you to do your work while offering their best counsel. None of us are exempt from life's ups and downs, and the only consistent thing in our lives is that "change" is inevitable.

Services
Sometimes the coping skills we've developed in life no longer help us in coping or dealing with life's stressors both effectively and efficiently. This leaves us with a great deal of ongoing worry, stress, pain, and sometimes feelings of hopelessness. The purpose of psychotherapy is to provide a safe and confidential platform to explore problematic concerns, identify cause contributors, and encourage a solution focused approach.

I started going to Precious Minds Counseling feeling like I had lost control of many aspects of my life, unable to express my frustrations and with many dark thoughts taking me over. The sessions helped me enormously because for once I was able to vocalise what I was feeling rather than bottling everything up. In a short space of time this all helped my sense of self-awareness, self-confidence and

Receptionist called to confirm my daughter’s 5 pm appointment at 3:25 p.m. I confirmed and said we’d be there. I hired a babysitter for my other children and made the ten mile drive across town. Two minutes before we pulled in at 4:45 p.m., I received a phone call that our appointment was cancelled due to emergency. By the time we got there in a few minutes, everything was closed, dark, and locked down. I understand that emergencies sometimes happen and understand the counselor having to leave unexpectedly, but it was highly unprofessional to not even have a receptionist wait for us to arrive
