Here at Elliot & Associates we provide individual, couples, and family therapy where we utilize DBT or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Holistic Approaches, Goal Directive Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy as well as many other therapeutic approaches. We are able to offer these services in a private practice setting which enables us to maintain client confidentiality and follow our ethical standards which is of utmost importance to us.
We have started a group for our Veterans that focuses on specific topics including PTSD groups geared more to the contributing trauma(s) and allowing specific training's including my PSSP (nationally recognized court approved parenting instructor) certifications to better serve our community expanding on existing services offered.

Services
We have compassionate counseling services available to help you both when you can no longer see through the din of your own problems. A neutral mediator is imperative to help you and your loved one see through the difficulties and reach a peaceful consensus. Together, we will identify what the sources of the issues are, and find ways towards solutions.

PTSD is a disorder caused by experiencing a life-threatening event. It is a continued response of the neurological system to a traumatic experience that happened in the past. PTSD-related suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. The need for PTSD help is stronger than ever. Having PTSD does not make you weak.
Sometimes problems get too difficult to handle, and you need a neutral mediator to help you talk them out. My spouse was a patient their for 6 months and in that time they had 3 counselors assigned to him. The only steady therapist is the owner. The turn around is not good.
The front office girl is rude and only works with the people she likes so watch out! Don’t get on her bad side or you’ll never be scheduled according to the therapist.
Honestly if you’re in need of a good therapist, look elsewhere.

Very professional, caring group of counselors— my family has been apart of counseling at Elliot and associates since 2016. When my family needed help to adjust and get through a certain situation, I was blessed to find Elliot and Associates! I absolutely love Carrie. I am a really guarded person and she has a way of breaking down my barriers and getting to the root of every issue I attempt to mask. With her I don’t have to be strong she allows me to experience every emotion and mood without judgement. I have cried, I’ve laughed, but most of all at the end of my session I feel uplifted. Even if she makes me realize something I had been denying for so long, I still feel good because I know and accept that is what she is supposed to do. She Makes me take off the mask I wear to the world.

I have been a patient of Elliot and Associates for 2.5 years. Mrs. Carrie Player Sexton is my counselor. She truly cares about my son and I. She has been seeing him for 1.5 years. She has truly been a blessing to us. She cares about our well being and goes above and beyond to ensure that we are mentally healthy and safe. Angie as well as associates have been amazing accommodating my family. , Since we started seeing her we are beyond pleased with her and the staff here. My son loves her and really opens up to her. We have had friends that go to her as well and are pleased. We have a set schedule most weeks, it's early but amazing because we don't have to worry week to week with the kids. We were recommend to her by another therapist that couldn't get us in. But my whole family comes here now.

I have been going here once a week for 3 years. All the women there are very friendly and caring. Angie and Aleisha have really there for me and my family! I have never had a scheduling issue, or been placed with another counselor, unless I requested it. They are great at giving tools for my son. They are great at including the family as a whole. I would highly recommend this place.
