Kids Dentist serving Redondo Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and all of South Bay. Dr. Kimi was born and raised in Southern California. She grew up with an interest in teeth. As a child she brushed her teeth way longer than 2 minutes (perhaps the only child ever) and thouroughly enjoyed helping her little sister with her loose teeth.
I have high anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I really cannot put into words how impressed I am from how comfortable the office made my 2 year old feel to the high tech equipment to how patient and knowledgeable Dr. Kimi is. One of the best experiences I have had in a very long time. Everything is centered around the child and making sure you are having a wonderful experience.
Breast milk ice chips: Frozen breast milk can naturally numb the area. Freeze breast milk flat in a baggie and place tiny pieces under tongue, lips, or cheeks and let melt slowly. Organic coconut oil can be used to lubricate the wound and create ease with the exercises. Feels better if chilled. Healing occurs underneath the healing diamond.

Took my son for his first appointment and we had such a great experience! Our dentist was super attentive to us and very gentle. Since it was my sons first time there he was quite squirmy and the assistant was very patient and gentle with him as well. It was very informative and I’m so glad we picked Pure Smile as the dentistry for our little one. The facility is so beautiful and clean. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming! We look forward to continue our care here!

We just went today. I took my 4 year old who had a dental emergency this weekend and Dr. Marran treated him right away. She was so kind and helped my little one to feel very comfortable. The staff at the office are also very kind as well. It's not easy finding a holistic/ biological dentist for kids. I have tried two places but there were always something about those dental places that wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But I thank the Lord for allowing our family to come to Dr. Marran's Pure Smiles today. This will be the new dental office for my kids now and I am so thankful

We love Dr. Kimi and the entire staff at Pure Smiles. Dr. Kimi has been so great in helping us deal with our dental issues. I love that the products she uses are as clean as possible and that she is so knowledgable about nutrition. OMG I Love our new Holistic Biological Pediatric Dentist! I love that we found a natural approach to children's dentistry. We love their no shot, no drill dentistry! Did you catch that? I mean no needles, numbing or drills! Just restful silence as they tickle your kids teeth clean! cool huh? My family loves Pure Smiles. They actually beg me to go to the dentist (not my experience as a child, or adult ) The office is so clean and tidy. The staff is so helpful and patient. Dr. Kimi is a great holistic dentist. When my baby was born my midwives said that she had a possible tongue tie. I knew there was no other person to see other than Dr. Kimi. My kids love going to Dr. Kimi! Her office is different and that is what makes it special. She spends time with us and makes my kids feel comfortable. We had an appointment to check in my son's tongue with a ent and showed her videos of baby's tongue before the release she was 100% sure that the release that doctor kim did was absolutely not necessary at all and that wasn't reattached (like dr.kim said).

First of all you can't call yourself a pediatric Dentist when you didn't do the extra school time to get the title. This office is nice yes and she is great with children but she is no way a pediatric dentist and she is not part of the american academy of pediatric dentistry. I'm very disappointed with the misrepresentation. Claiming you're great with kids doesn't make you a "pediatric dentist" nor better than actual doctors who went and did the extra training. My wife took our 2 children here for cleaning and check up and she was hit with a bill for nearly $1000 (she was required to pay in full at the visit). Just for cleaning and checkup with xray for two pre teen children (and $25 for a toothpaste) - which typically insurance covers in full (not the toothpaste).
Found out we were out of network. Apparently she was told about it, but i don't think it was very clear since she doesn't remember about it. Clearly she wasn't told about the charges. She certainly wouldn't have stayed if she knew she would pay about a grand for cleaning

I was SO hesitant to come to a dentist's office with my one week old son to get a possible frenectomy and was honestly so torn with what dentist to choose, as I had numerous referrals. Dr. Kimi was a referral from a lactation consultant and I am so happy we went with her. I've had nothing but positive experience at Pure Smiles. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The office is clean, modern, and children friendly. Equipments are new and of the latest technology. But most of all, Dr. Kimi is super knowledgeable and gentle with my wiggly 2 year old. She is extremely good with kids! I was looking for a pediatric dentist for my 3 year old in June 2019 and heard great things about Dr. Kimi! I booked an appointment and we've been there ever since. The entire office is so great & my daughter gets so excited to go to her appointments. Dr. Kimi is so knowledgeable and has answered all of my questions & concerns with patience and understanding. Dr. Kimi and her staff are simply amazing! Our equally amazing doula Tasha Boyd recommended her office to us after it became clear that the pain and damage I was experiencing nursing our 6 week old wasnt going to improve until her tongue and lip ties were revised. Dr Kimi is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and kind and caring as well. We took our 2-month old to her because we were informed he had a tongue-tie and wanted to remove it via laser frenectomy. Best dental experience ever. I have bad teeth and have had issues my whole life. I was told my issues are genetic. So I am terrified for my kids. I decided to take my 2 year old daughter to the dentist and start her dental care early. My kids just had their first dental visit today, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Sandy was very friendly and welcoming and the office is beautiful. Dr. Kimi and her staff are the absolute best. I have 2 child, ages 13 months and 3 years. I took both to Pure Smiles today because my 13 month old needed to have a laser frenulectomy due to an upper lip tie. Dr. Kimi and her staff were so great with both of the kids (even though my oldest was not there for treatment today). They have the most adorable office equipped with multiple play areas for the children. My 3 year old was well entertained while Dr. Kimi examined my other child.

I took my 18 month old here for a regular checkup. We first heard of Pure Smiles at our local farmers market and found out the first checkup is free before age 2 so we scheduled one for her. I made the appointment online via their website which was super easy.
