At Paradise Animal Hospital, we know your pet is a part of the family. Our dedicated team strives to treat each patient the way we would want our own pets to be treated; by providing exceptional, compassionate care in a low-stress environment. Since 1990, we have been honored to help the pets of the Catonsville community and beyond live happier, healthier lives through our wide range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and boarding services.

When it comes to providing exceptional veterinary care, we believe in taking a personalized approach. After performing a thorough examination, our veterinarians will work with you to customize a diagnostic and treatment plan that best fits the needs of you and your pet.
Services
Water therapy, also called underwater treadmill therapy, is among the most effective of therapies for post-op canines, or pets with orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions associated with muscle weakness. The therapy involves the use of an underwater treadmill, where animals are able to practice (and ultimately regain) motion and flexibility.
By combining our roots as a small, family practice with the benefits of an expanded, state-of -the-art medical, boarding and rehabilitation center, we aim to offer our patients and their owners the best that veterinary medicine has to offer. At Paradise Animal Hospital, we offer compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care through every stage of life, from the first kitten and puppy visits to geriatric care consultations.
At Paradise Animal Hospital in Catonsville, we offer all the necessary services to ensure that the animal members of your family are happy and healthy. Our veterinarians and veterinary technicians have both the experience and equipment so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands. Because we've been treating animals for nearly 30 years, we have the experience to ensure that every patient receives the best care possible.
While we like to think that we can understand our pets and their needs, sometimes we don't pick up when something is wrong with them. Because pets age at a rate much faster than humans, it is important that they are cared for properly and each year is a great year. In getting your pet examined once a year, it can help prevent future health issues and treat any underlying or undetected health issues.
Our team of skilled veterinarians have a wide range of talents and interests, and enjoy working together to provide the best care possible for each patient. Get to know more about the members of our veterinary team through their bios! To schedule an appointment with one of our veterinarians, call (410) 777-5309 or contact us online.

Dr. Happen & staff were very helpful and sympathetic when we had to treat our cat for cancer, then put her to sleep. I highly recommend them.

We used board our handicapped dachshund Willie here when we had to go out of town. They always took such wonderful care of him and we knew that we had nothing to worry about. Outstanding service and a warm, compassionate staff.
