Sorting practice at 7D Ranch is a place for riders of all experience levels to come work with their animals and make some new friends! Practices are held on Friday nights (weather permitting) from 7-10. 7D does not limit riders on the number of runs they can make at practice, this gives everyone the opportunity to ride with new people and gain a ton of experience.
7-D Ranch offers many breeds and classifications of cattle at one of our several pasture locations in Central Texas. These are offered as Yearling Grass Fed Slaughter Cattle, Replacement Heifers, 1st Calf Heifers bred to Angus, Angus +, Brahman, Brangus, or Hereford Bulls and 1st Calf Pairs. 7D Ranch is cow/calf ranching operation located in Navasota, Texas. Our goal at 7D is provide our customers with a quality cut of beef at an affordable price. The best way for 7D to accomplish this is to offer our own personal beef straight off the ranch. 7D uses the best genetics for meat quality available for our dams and sires to provide an offspring of these superior genetics.
This is a 4 to 5 hour class beginning with indoor classroom instruction, followed by practical shooting on range. Additional ammunition available for purchase on site, or student can provide additional ammunition as desired. 4-6 hour indoor class as required by state law, followed by range proficiency/shooting test.

Was there yesterday with Kaleigh Willis as my guide. I'm on vacation from Michigan and can't wait to return to Texas just so I can visit 7D Ranch again!!!! She was awesome, patient and caring to my needs as… a first timer. My horse was beautiful and well groomed. Thank you KALEIGH WILLIS for making this a great memory for me!!!!

This is second time we have to wait for cleaning lady's to clean first and the cabin #3 and second the farm house 🏠 which belongs to 7D Ranch don't get me wrong we love staying there but when the toilet handle doesn't flush and the shower drain is slow going down plus the shower and toilet were dirty and they left the floor dirty to.

If i could give it 10 stars i would. When I say this place is AMAZING, i mean it! My family and friends have been going out here for 3 years now and absolutely LOVE it! The place is BEAUTIFUL! If you want to do a bunch of stuff such as fishing, hunting, kayaking, horseback riding, etc. you can! But if you just want to relax and look at beautiful views, you can! The management here is also incredibly amazing! Gabby goes above and beyond and is so helpful! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

We attended the "Splash Bash". The notice on Facebook said it was to begin at 12 noon. We arrived at 12:23 and not much was happening. We had to ask if that was the Splash Bash. I saw kayaks in the lake and small pools being filled up. The boy scouts were cooking hamburgers for $10. Nothing much was happening. There was no signage about the event. At first we weren't even sure that we were at the right place. The cemetery on the same spot had a bigger crowd than the Splash Bash!

Our Texas A&M Corps of Cadets unit (Squadron 8 Outlaws) had our end-of-year banquet here and it was phenomenal! The location was gorgeous and the facility was clean and spacious. We greatly appreciated Mrs.… Gabby's efforts and cooperation with us, she really worked with us to make this banquet a success, and was understanding with us blundering college students! I absolutely recommend this venue for anyone, especially Texas A&M students and those in the Corps of Cadets, because Mrs. Gabby and the 7D Ranch staff work super hard and this venue is totally worth it!

7D venue was pretty but the venue management was horrible. The manager was running late in opening bar and had one of the bartenders waiting on her so she could get in. The beer was hot and not cold at all. The manager was very rude and you could tell she did not want to be there. Also where the bride was getting ready was filthy. When having a event you need to act professional and treat your guest with respect whether you want to be there are not. The owner will lose a lot of business .

Gorgeous venue, horrible management. Do Not recommend, very unprofessional. Stay tuned for yelp reviews for 7D Ranch. I do not usually write bad reviews because everyone has bad days, but when you are in the service industry it comes with a certain expectation. Dirty cabins, filthy linens, unprepared venue coordinator, management changed and was… not notified, unprofessional, did not open bar for guest until 5:30. It was supposed to open at 4, served hot beer, ran out of ice 30 minutes after bar was open. Paid a substantial amount of money for this service and we were prohibited from bringing

Beautiful venue and remote location.
The "wedding coordinator" behaved like it was a problem that we were there and was generally rude to everyone. The consensus was to try and stay away from her but that was pretty difficult with her asserting herself and making nasty comments before driving off and offering no help. The rest of the staff that we interacted with was fantastic.

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. Just wish we would have been able to stay the weekend. The cabins were very clean and the scenery was beautiful and relaxing. The only thing that would have made the stay better is something to put toiletries on in the shower, and a less firm mattress.. but they were clean, and the cabins were really cute. I'm glad we found these and will definitely plan to stay again if we are back in that area.

Great....beautiful cabin. We were at our daughters wedding, 12 minutes down the road. Great view of a lake...cabin had 8 beds, full size oven/stove, full size fridge. Nice tv & couch. Also had 2 bathrooms. Had a bbq pit & picnic table.....only 2 suggestion, needs hooks for clothes ( not just in the bathroom ) & light switches need to be labeled to say what they go to....we will be back, loved this place.
