Internal Medicine Clinic of Tangipahoa was founded in 1981 to serve the citizens of Hammond and Tangipahoa Parish. The clinic has grown with the addition of physicians and services over the last 30 years and has expanded into a multi-specialty group including nine physicians, two nurse practitioners, and a wide range of support personnel who provide a wide range of services -including lab, x-rays, ultrasound, specialized cardiac and pulmonary evaluations-- all in our single location.
The practice occupies a new, modern, state-of-the-art, 23,000 square foot building in Hammond, Louisiana.We pride ourselves in providing a friendly atmosphere and are committed to state of the art quality healthcare. Services
Dr. Caulfield was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He obtained his B.S. in 1974 from Louisiana State University. He obtained his M.D. degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1977. He completed his internship and residency at Earl K. Long Hospital in 1980 and was also board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1981.
The physicians at Internal Medicine Clinic of Tangipahoa are board certified and specialize in the care of adult patients with a variety of symptoms and issues. IMCT also has nurse practitioners who assist our patients with managing ongoing medical issues. IMCT provides total healthcare for adult patients, including treatment for chronic long term complicated medical problems and short term illnesses.
At IMCT we pride ourselves in being able to provide most diagnostic services you will need in-house under one roof. Rather than being sent to another facility for lab work, an x-ray, an ultrasound or any of the other services listed below, you can walk right around the corner within our beautiful facility to take care of these tests.
Our facilities are the most state-of-the-art medical facilities in the region. Built to be aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and convenient for our patients and functional and efficient for our staff, virtually no detail was overlooked. The dcor is modern, yet soothing due to the combination of wood and soothing colors.

Because insurance coverage can vary from plan to plan, please understand that you are ultimately responsible for settling your account. When applicable, as a courtesy Internal Medicine Clinic will file secondary insurance.

Worst doctors around. My grandpa is bed ridden basically as of 2 weeks ago, cant even pick up his arms. 2 weeks and several agencies, calls, etc and counting, we can't get Dr.Stevens to sign a paper to help us get medical equipment. Home health and Medical store as well as i have been calling for 2 weeks begging only for a signature. The last thing we need. They don't care. Im one man alone with back problems and i cant even take care of my grandpq because if the lack of urgency coming from this place. Not to mention the 3 medications they forgot to perscribe and had to go to ER just ti get the

I made a appointment to get some vaccination shots. I left work early to get there to do the paper work. My appointment was at 2:30 I got there about 2:10 saw the Dr. at 2:55. When the Dr. ask why I was there he told me he would not get the vaccination cause he would have to buy them. I would have been great if they would call me instead let me show up to find out.
