As a pediatric dental office, we are dedicated to helping children form a positive attitude towards dental care and regular dental examinations. We are a preventative oriented office specializing in the dental needs of infants, children, teens and patients of special needs. We approach dentistry in a fun and gentle manner creating a relaxed atmosphere that makes each visit as relaxed and fun as possible.
The frenum is a piece of tissue which connects to the mouth in two places- the base of the tongue and beneath the upper lip. A frenectomy is a surgical procedure that consists of releasing the frenum under the tongue and/or upper lip to allow for better range of motion.
Infants may be born with a combination of conditions called tongue-tie (ankyloglossia) and /or a lip-tie causing restrictions in movement that can cause difficulty with breast feeding, and in some instances, other health problems like dental decay or spacing, speech and airway difficulties, and digestive issues.These issues can generally be corrected by this simple procedure.

Children should have a dental care home - preferably with a pediatric dentist who specializes in the oral health of children and adolescents. Early childhood dental visits help a child acclimate to the dental environment and become comfortable with his or her oral care provider. By attending appointments on a regular basis, children learn to put a value.

My five-year-old son was recently referred to this office due to some complicated dental work he required as a result of irregular checkups during the Pandemic. Initially we were told that the best option was hospital dentistry: they recommended a lengthy, expensive procedure under general anesthesia (it would have been expensive because it was not covered by insurance since it was not medically necessary). Neither his primary dentist, his primary care provider, nor I were comfortable with this option. Our primary dentist brought him back into her office on two occasions to do some of the work

We went in today for what we expected to be a quick fill for my 3.5yo. Things took a turn as they worked away the decay and realized just how damaged the tooth was. Dr. An was amazing at talking to me about the… options and opening my mind to the idea of extracting the bad tooth. She was quick, the staff incredibly proficient and patient with us. While Rosalie cried initially, we are now no worse for wear and she was excited to get to have a tooth fairy party in the evening.

Wonderful staff and very kid friendly space. I had brought my two kids for appointments at the same time and had to stay with the younger one but the visit was quick and they made sure I knew what was happening with my other child throughout the visit by coming in and updating me on everything they were doing. Highly recommend, everything was so easy and simple

I would give 100 stars if I could! We had our first experience here today and it was worth the drive. I would make the drive a 100 times over just to come here. Dr. Menon was amazing, kind, compassionate, and kept a worried mom informed. I feel so blessed that we had the experience to have Dr. Menon along with the other staff. This place is amazing! It is completely decorated in a jungle theme with tons of toys in the waiting room. Our 23 month-old was instantly at ease. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. We could not believe that our little one let them examine and clean her teeth without a fuss. Highly recommend!
