Services
Every day is as unique as I am, but Wirtzie's gives me so many opportunities to grow and learn! We believe that quality child care programs are built around the relationship between your child and the adults who care for him or her. In addition to our teachers, with our large number of volunteers we have an adult nearby in case your child needs help with a project, guidance in working out a conflict, or maybe just needs a hug.
Your child's first steps are more than just physical movement. They are an expression of their growing independence. The Wobbler child care program at Wirtzie's encourages and supports your child's natural desire for independence and provides positive, patient guidance along the way.
At the Wobbler stage, children are working on developing gross motor skills like moving from crawling to walking unaided, the language skills of stringing together their first phrases and sentences, and social skills.Because young children are naturally curious, our day care provides a variety of opportunities to explore their world and facilitate that learning.

As children gain more confidence in their abilities, they progress into the toddler phase. The Wirtzie's Toddler child care program grows right along with your child and builds on the foundation laid during the Wobbler program. As Toddlers, children begin fine-tuning their motor skills and engage in activities and games for the sheer joy of using those skills and finding a channel for their burgeoning energy.
In the preschool years, your child continues the transition to independence. These years mark an explosion of curiosity as your child revels in new-found motor and language skills and begins to turn their attention to understanding how the world works. The primary focus of these years is to continue natural learning while also setting the stage for kindergarten and a successful lifelong habit of learning.
Wirtzie's preschool and child care options offer developmentally appropriate programs that allow your child to explore his or her world in a safe, caring environment while developing his or her own individual interests and abilities. Our programs are designed to provide age-appropriate, child-directed activities that will inspire your child to learn and discover through play and the spark of their own natural curiosity.

My son attended Wirtzie’s and the staff allowed him to go each day without food or fluids. The director, Kresta Horn purposefully impeded me from bringing in food & beverages because she wanted me to withdraw my son. I had to request involvement of her boss. It was gross neglect; NO ONE CALLED to inform me that my nonverbal two year-old had not eaten/drank anything although it was documented in the report I received at the end of each day AFTER I PICKED HIM UP. My son was returned to me severely dehydrated & hungry. He eats & drinks a ton. I believe they don’t have cameras in this place because

I couldn't imagine any other place for my sweet daughter, I can always count on teachers to keep me informed of how she is doing in the classroom. I love receiving a glimpse of the day with photos and descriptions of what was offered during meal time and what activities she participated in.

My husband and I went in last week to inquire and the lobby had a bad odor and the receptionist was pretty unprofessional. After we left, I checked the Arizona Department of Health and found that on their last inspection, that they have several staff members (including the DIRECTOR) that are NOT qualified to be the director or caring for children! How does this happen? Be careful parents...if your first interaction is not professional; then make sure you trust your gut. Always check out the Dept of Health's website for citations FIRST. My husband told me to check it first but we were driving by

Our son has been at Wirtzies for over a year now and what a blessing they have been to us! It has been so fun to see the progress our son has made and the excitement he has each morning to go to school. The teachers are amazing and genuinely care about the kids. We will forever be thankful for Wirtzies!

I enrolled my two daughter's at this school and the staff/teachers have been nothing but amazing. I was very afraid to have my kids attend school during Covid/lockdowns but I really had no choice due to being an essential worker. My 4 year old loves the structure and has made so many new friends. My 5 month old loves her teachers and is getting one on one attention that she needs. Everybody has been very nice/professional and very helpful along the way. They have treated us like family and not just another number. You can tell their company also has great values and that shows with all of their

I have a child that goes here and I have nothing but good things to say. In fact I could boast all day. From the amazing lunch menu to the curriculum. However what it really comes down to in a daycare is people who care about your kids as much as you do and the Staff here really takes your kids seriously.
Through out this crazy Covid Wirtzies had made me feel comfortable that my child is safe in their care.
I have never seen a child cry being dropped off, I have only seen them excited an happy to be there.
