Staff members of Arnolds Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Charles was a lifelong resident of Lewis County and he began working around the funeral home at an early age.
In 1965, Charles and Margaret Coder Arnold, Sr. established the Arnold's Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri. This new location, designed by architech Frank W. Horn, and built by Charles Arnold and his sons Charles Jr. and Thomas, included a chapel, family room/sitting room, casket display room, preparation room, office, and garage, on site parking on a single level with living quarters located on the second story.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
