Honestly I wish I could give this place 5 stars. And I would have, up until the day we checked out. Once we were on the road, I realized I had left some personal belongings in our room. I called the front desk and asked them to send then to me when their housekeeping found it. I specified exactly where the items were. I was emailed a form to fill out with address and credit card details to charge for sending it to me. And guess what? I was never contacted. I called 3 days later to inquire and was told that housekeeping “never found anything”. Which is odd because… it was 100% there. I am

The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable. My first room was dirty though, and there was a (living) roach in the bath tub and a used q tip under the dresser. The breakfast was also a little disappointing, only eggs and sausage were prepared, the rest was prepackaged with very few options. It is only about a 10-15 minute walk to the public beach, though.

Staff was friendly; lobby & room were very clean. Nothing too over the top, as to be expected at a hotel around this price point and star rating. As far as location goes, I’d say it’s perfect for anyone looking to tour Destin, FL as it is in the middle of almost everything. Would stay again, and would recommend.
